Friendly and helpful staff. The recommended restaurant, just 200 mtrs away, was excellent and good value. No private parking, but parking nearby easy and felt safe. |

Very clean, comfortable, with charming married couple at the front desk. Great value for the money. A bit far from the old town, but the 30-minute walk along the beach was very nice. |

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the en-suite bathroom was spacious and modern ( lovely shower!!) Nice and close to the beach, about 300mtrs,and then a lovely stroll along the beach to the main hub of the walled town. There is also a small town to the left as you come out of the hotel, with good bars and restaurants about 650mtrs Situated on a fairly busy crossroads,it can get a bit noisy with early morning traffic, but there are rooms situated at the rear of the hotel, which I'm sure, would be quieter.the breakfast,as in all hotels we stay in in France is not good value (we take our own travel kettle for our first cuppa),and then grab a croissant in a local pattiserie!! |

The friendliness and helpfulness of the proprietors, the pleasant decor in the dining room and the good continental breakfast. No lift and rather steep stairs, however the owner carried our case up. |

Firendly approach of staff and general helpfulness. No trollies or lift, although the owner will oblige profusely to lend a hand. |

Access to the beach. Having to book breakfast the night before. Street traffic was very heavy in early morning about 7am, had to close windows. Hotel located on main access route. |

The ensuite bathroom. Lack of a lift. Stairs steep and narrow. At breakfast the cereal on offer was just miniature Kellogg's packet - not much variety. Nowhere close to park a car to unload cases, except on the pavement outside, but there was parking in a parallel street behind. |

It's location was ideal for local shops, and restaurants that were cheaper than in the old town of St Malo. |

I liked the place enough to return there after a gapof 3 days/nights on our return route. The upstairs accommodation is infinitely better ventilated than the gtround floor rooms which are airless. |
