The view of Mont Blanc from the window. Comfort room and friendly staff who want to help wherever they can.
paid twice because of a mistake of one staff member. fortunately was notified by the staff but it took almost 3 weeks to get a refund
Neither the main room door nor the bathroom door locks would work. A request to desk to fix gave response that handyman wasn't available as it was out of season.
English speaking staff is very warm and welcoming. Convenient parking. Cozy room with your own balcony. Modest decor but very clean and a very good value. Would definitely return and recommend.
Great atmosphere, views, breakfast, acess
The bed, the pillows, the linen, the friendliness.
Not enough info on how to get there easily. I walked for 26 minutes with a small backpack and 20kg of luggage. Could have got off at a much closer railway station. Or went one further where there were taxis.
Loved the location, breakfast, etc everything was great!
Big enough for two pals, tight bathroom and no hooks to hang off wet clothes... One would expect this at a ski resort location.
Lack of hooks in the room, simple breakfast with limited choice
Nice hotel , good staff Five min by your car to mont blank station Room with balcony and mont blank view
No lift No hair dryer
15 min walk from the centre, staff was very helpful, great Mont Blanc view room
There is was a party in property's restaurant until after midnight, maybe just bad luck
The location, it was only a 15min walk to town, plus very close to the station. Lovely and friendly staff. A good atmosphere, comfortable room. Breakfast was pleasant. An amazing view of the mountains. Overall an excellent stay.
They forgot to mention the free transport travel card on arrival although it was in the guest info book in the room.
Nice location out of main part of Chamonix. View of mountains over the ugly building across the street. Owners are English and helpful. Street parking is available.
Rooms are very small and you can hear other guests in the hallway. No hair dryer. Restaurant was closed for the season.
Nice place but no bells and whistles. A short walk to city center - about 10 or 15 minutes.
Pleasent serviceminded staff Good view of the mountains from balcony Even though the bathroom was very tiny it was in good condition.
Noice from street and you could follow the life of the other guests through the walls. Restaurant was closed.
Breakfast was quite disorganised with different things running out each day and no fruit on offer. Had to keep asking for things like milk orange juice and no croissants one day at all.m
very good location, good service.room is ok.we have good time in this palce.
- location with a parking space - Friendly staff
The room was very small and the walls are thin. As we were situated on the first floor by the stairs we could hear a lot of noise from downstairs. The lighting is dim and the toilet/shower room is very cramped. There were no basic facilities such as a kettle and the worst part was soiled bed sheets.
The staff (both at reception and the restaurant) to ensure I was comfortably looked after. Location wise, it's a 10-15 minute stroll to the Chamonix centre. But overall a satisfactory stay (basic but clean, plus friendly staff), would recommend!
Being so close to the mountains the comfortable beds great shower the food the service brilliant
As soon as we arrived we we greeted enthusiastically. The room was clean and the atmosphere in the bar was friendly and thriving.
lots of spiders
Staff was great and accommodating It's cheap Close to a train station
Noisy during nights Location (Far from the restaurants and bars area)
By no means 4 star accommodation but if you can ignore the rather shabby looking reception area and public areas, the room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower room. However the gem is the restaurant - excellent food far above the level expected - must even be worth a Michelin star!!
The reception area and staircase/hallways are rather offputting looking as though they haven't had a coat of paint or change of carpet in over 20 years.
