The staff were very polite and professional. It's a no frills hotel but definitely good value for money. Perfect for a short stay.
Wi-Fi didn't work.
Cheap hotel across the street from the train station. Very centrally located.
Very old (ancient) and hasn't aged well.
Staff were helpful. Excellent breakfast. Just across the road from the station. Good value for money. Easy to organize trip to Mont sT Michel from here as you can just walk across the rd to the bus station. Nice cozy bed. WiFi adequate but not fast.
I liked the fact that it was opposite the Rennes train station and close to the town and many restaurants, as well as the cost. This hotel is exactly what it says it is and if you are looking for a night just to get some sleep then this is the place.
The location is really near the station, just a few minutes walk.
It is too noisy at night.
It is very close to the train station as well as to the city center. It is perfect if you are coming late and you are very tired.
It is a bit noisy, as it is just in front of the train station, there are quite a lot of people. And there are some bars nearby, so it might be noisy up to 2am.
Good location and helpful staff. Newly renovated bathroom.
Bathroom door needs fixing and hanging space not wide enough.
Good location by the station, and not far from the main areas of the city. Good breakfast; very filling
A bit noisy in the morning with the Metro works
The location was great! Just one min to the station
No wifi connection in the rooms, had to stand in the hallway to use wifi. The cleanliness of the blankets weren't so great
The Hotel is in a great location opposite the train station and the metro. The staff are English speaking and friendly. The rooms are clean and the shower is fantastic. If you travel by motor bike you can park in the South Gare (Station)for free. The Metro takes you up to the old town by going to the stop called St Anne
Located directly opposite the station, which isn't a sleazy area (as it is in some cities!); very friendly staff; good WiFi connection. I was there over Saturday night and it was remarkably quiet - but the Square in front is being excavated for a metro line, so I suspect that on weekdays it's quite noisy.
A very pleasant stay, albeit for a night. Located right by train station and within walking distance of the city centre. Staff were very welcoming and was assuring to know reception was manned 24/7. Room was of good standard and bed was comfy!
We had an early train and lots of luggage so we stayed across the street. Very convenient, many restaurants around and short walk to the centre ville.
a bit old facilities
Cheap. Really good for an overnight stay. Food coffee etc nearby. Rooms clean if a little on the small side. Don't expect the Ritz, but you aren't paying those type of prices.
Parking quite costly nearby except on Sunday. Area having some building / renovation near station, so perhaps not currently at its best. (July 2104 )
The location was excellent for train travellers and a short walk to the main square.
Noise at three o'clock in the morning from the room next door.
Location was directly opposite the train and bus stations. perfect for me. Staff were lovely and kindly switched to English when they saw how bad my French was!
Room was very small with just the basics.
Very close to the station
In front of the train station, very useful for early trip. 24h reception, kindly staff. Large comfortable bed, soundproof windows, towels changed every day, hairdryer, new furniture in bathroom. Good free WiFi in room. We didn't pay for breakfast and we don't have any opinion about it.
No aircon, noisy location, walls in room need to be repainted. No possibility to early check-in, we had to wait to 14h, but the boy took us the luggage.
- Wifi doesn't work - Room size (too small) - Price is way too high - I was welcomed by a very nice girl, however, when I was about to do the check out I had to to deal with a rude, arrogant mister. He doesn't have any idea of how customers mut be trated
friendly and helpful staff
Pretty much everything. I was here for business at the Musee de Bretagne, which turned out to be just around the corner. It couldn't have been more perfect for me. However, probably most travelers are going to be there for leisure and it is a short walk to the center of the "old city", maybe ten to fifteen minutes. It's a pleasant walk, safe and easy. Also, I consider the location across from the station as a bonus, because it makes getting to the hotel after traveling incredibly easy! The room was clean, painted a bright white that made it feel airy. The bathroom is normal for French hotels: small but efficient. The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. The bed was firm, the pillows plump. The staff: all very pleasant and easy to work with. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, which I definitely appreciated. Petit Dejouner (Breakfast): Coffee and warmed milk, baguette, croissant, yogurt, apple sauce, jam and butter, cereal if you want it. It was ample and served with a smile. Also, I have to recommend the creperie across the street to the right, L'epi de Ble: delicious food, attentive staff, good prices. Get the chocolate crepe: delicious!
Nothing. Yes, there was construction on the square, but it wasn't loud (at least I didn't find it disturbing). Even though it was near the station (sometimes not the best place to be), it didn't feel unsafe or dodgy in the least. There were restaurants all around, two literally below the hotel, and another three across the street. For value for money, it's a great spot. Highly recommended.
Staff, location(near train station, 2 mini markets just in the corner)
Excellent location, staff were helpful With advice Nice updated bathroom
Wifi fast but have to login once every day at least and they want personal details
no permit of late check-out,but u can store luggage.
