Great location for us on our visit to the Cevennes. This was the second time we had stayed here. Can't fault the value for money and cleanliness of the rooms and reception area. It was very cold on arrival and the heating soon had the room at a comfortable temperature. Shower room was perfectly adequate for a short break and the bed was a good size, which meant a good night's sleep! Quiet location and great service from the proprietors who are rightly proud of their ambitious and lengthy restoration work, sculptures and museum. No nearby good quality restaurants that can be reached on foot. That said, we dialled in a pizza one night and the proprietors are more than happy to offer glasses etc for you to have a picnic in the room!

This creative artistic hotel has a wonderful ambience and is in a very peaceful country location. Its great for travel on to les Cevennes, le Gorge du Tarn or Nimes. Its owners were most welcoming and helpful. The pool would be an added delight in summer and the upstairs mezzanine from the main room is very well designed to also sleep two children.

Extremely friendly owner (Olivier), the building is nice in itself and in a very nice setting, near a main road but not noisy. Good swimming pool and good rooms (though some of them a little dark). Rooms a little dark. It would also be better if the courtyard that the rooms look onto was not used as a car park as things then become a little noisy.

It was a beautiful hotel in nice surroundings and the staff were extremely helpful. It has a great pool and the rooms were very clean. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant and there isn't one within walking distance. The owner did however have a list of restaurants and would order pizza delivery for you.

Lovely design and execution, great breakfast, quiet, family atmosphere. Lack of outside ventilation in the rooms - perhaps with a screen and an open-window lock on the window by the door (room 10) it might be better - but no cross ventilation in the rooms was not comfortable. The door-stop in the floor is dangerous in that it is easy to trip on it - there are other ways to keep the door from opening too wide too fast. Might be nice to have earphones for the TV so that a person could watch TV without disturbing the others in the room. Perhaps some TV stations in English or other languages.

- Friendly owner - Parking Close to Room - Location vs Racecircuit Alès - Excellent free Wi-Fi, Room with flatscreen. Would return ! Breakfast is not expensive, but if it was my place I'd charge a bit more and offer a bit more (not much but some fresh 'charcuterie' and 'cheese') - No dinner possibilities & no bar might be annoying for some, didn't bother me.

Personnel courtois et agréable.J'ai eu un peu de mal à localiser avec mon gps, mais je n'avais pas entré le bon type de coordonnées. Mais ça, ce n'est pas la faute de la documentation car tout était reporté correctement.J'ai perdu l'usage des cartes routières.
