The rooms are like mini apartments - the comfort and space is excellent for the price. The proximity to Lille is good. The hotel appears to have changed hands and there is more concern for conferences than guests. We had booked a room for four people which was of good size but the water tank contains only enough hotel water for two people to shower. We were told that this was the case when all four people showered in quick succession. When we explained that two of us had showered 1.5 hours after the first two the receptionist merely shrugged. We have stayed in this hotel many, many times and this is definitely the worst stay we have had. We are regular visitors to Lille and La Domaine is a home away from home for us, pity we were treated so poorly! |

nice quiet hotel, with good atmosphere stayed in the single room, antique landish style, nice! Came in late at night, no problem for staff to wait up,very friendly, highly recommendable especially for the price. Although close to the highway Lille-Paris, at eight o clock in the morning on a weekday it took me 30 minutes to get to the highway,in the evening only 5 minutes. |

Very quiet, very clean. Simple, non fussy. Liked having a fridge & kitchen. Room to move. The pillows were awful! Beds slighly hard. No extra pillows or blankets in room. Bathroom needed more shelves/hooks. We asked for twin beds but they were made up as one bed. Comfy chair would be nice. |

We liked the location- countryside but near enough to travel to Lille. You need a car though. The nicely presented outbuildings. We did not like the room. Stayed at this hotel last year and were much more impressed with the room we were then given. It was the opposite this time. The cheap finish is a big shame! Breakfast was a buffet- nothing warm was there apart from coffee. It is very impersonal- hardly ever saw any staff and they were not interested in us. There are very nice grounds but not utilized well. The hotel was empty which surprises in a busy holiday period as that but also explains my reservations to this place. There is a potential out there, it's just such a shame that the owners do no do more about that. |

Large, clean rooms in a safe, gated estate conveniently located near several highways. Restaurant not open and room service not available on weekends. Inconvenient check-in hours. Good portion of reception staff is not multi-lingual and communication was relatively difficult. |

Convenient stop over place on our way from England to Germany. As it was a Sunday, Reception was closed but the intructions from hotel on how to get in and get our key worked fine. And we had their phone number in case we couldn't get in. We were the only people there that night. Absolutely deserted! Had to whole place to ourselves. Monday morning was more lively. Beautiful setting. Ask the hotel to recommend where to eat especially on a Sunday evening when everything is closed! We didn't ask and ended up buying take-away from a Fritterie - deep fried overload! |

The setting of the hotel and the dimensions of the room. Like so often, they did not provide real orange juice. |

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere, which is great for someone like me looking to escape city hassle and bustle. The room was very spacious despite being in the eaves. The whole hotel has a lot of character. It would have been great if there was more land around the hotel, as I imagined there will be after seeing the pictures. There was a problem with the waste outlet in a shower, the water was not flowing out freely. We also found that there was not enough shower gel in a bathroom. Despite of it all I would recommend it to everyone (you have to drive to get there) and will stay there again. |
