Character of the building & location French breakfasts are too expensive and not worth it. Air conditioning unit too close to bed. |

Lovely location on the canal. The rooms were delightful. The staff were very pleasant. Recommend a coffee in the atrium with a book, very relaxing The Breakfast was a bit expensive but there were plenty of bakers nearby for cheaper ones |

The food in the resturant was very good. The bedrooms were very basic although the bathrooms were very modern and newly refurbished. The hotel was very typically french and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were able to take the dogs with us and the hotel were more than obliging even able to take the dogs with us into the dinning room. Excellent............. |

A pleasant hotel (probably the best in the area) which has the advantage of situation, both in terms of town and the general area of France. Lovely access to rooms with central balcony. We choose to eat around the town so did not sample the attached restaurant. |

We enjoyed boat trips on the Etang de Thau and on the Canal du Midi. We also loved the fish restaurants. Parking was a nightmare but we found a free parking spot 300m away. The breakfast was too expensive for us (due to the exchange rate) |

On arrival we we received a very friendly welcome and we were given an excellent room on the front of the building with a small balcolny and fine views of the canals. Loved the style. We were just passing through Sete and so stayed for just one night, would certainly stay again if in the area There was a rather unpleasant smell mostly in the corridors - drains??? |

We had a large room for two people which had a jacuzzi and a separate area with a childs bed. It was very quiet, comfortable and clean The door to the room was off a narrow walkway looking into the atrium - not easy for anyone with vertigo |

The hotel is really a very comfortable place to stay. Built I guess in 1882 with the charm and "grandiose" of that time, well maintained, decoration mixing old and new, nice metal works, with rooms built around an internal hall under a skylight where breakfast is served. Facing the main canals of this fishing city, it is a great place to stay but the city itself needs an urgent "upgrade". This suggestion is common to many hotels in France: Have a shower head holder so one can use both hands to shower instead of having to juggle the shower head in one hand while having a bath. |

Still the most enjoyable place to spend a couple of days. Staff is great. Location is perfect. Now a garage too!! - If the atrium isn't special to you, then there's something wrong with you. Bathrooms, TV, Internet have all been modernized. |

Very comfortable in an old fashioned way. Good beds with cotton sheets. The wi-fi worked and is FREE. Without free wi-fi I would not have stayed. The shower did not have a fitting so had to be held in the hand and the pipe was not long enough for me |

Lovely feeling, extremely friendly at reception. The hotel has been recently given a face lift and whilst the bedrooms are completely modern the rest of the hotel has real French charm, it was a pleassure to stay there. The shower door opened the wrong way and a larger than normal person would not be able to get in |
