The hotel is situated in a nice garden, it is small but clean and comfortable, the area is lovely and within walkin distance of so much. Rue de Passy is a nice shopping area with one or two friendly places to eat. You need to be prepared for stairs, especially if you are on the third floor

Good position/ nice area Poor building, microscopic room, and bad receptionist/trying to scare us about how dangerous Paris is. Just trying to avoid having people coming in back late...

The room was spick & span. Super clean. Air felt nice. Tho inside a busy street, the garden setup was nice. Breakfast was functional and sufficient. Great location for shopping and metro. There are no lifts. we have to climb stairs ( actually fire exits ).And we got a room on the 3rd floor. So going up with a 5 year old was tedious. Luckily we dint have luggages. if we had some, then it would have been nightmare.

Its near the metro station and loads of shops around. Also the Eiphel tower is just beside. Cosy small rooms. Of of the reception staff was terrible, he didn't wan't to help with flight booking which would take to 2 min, was moaning all the time that we should go sleep and why we didn't book our luggage before. Completely destroyed our evening. He was working at night from 8th to 9th of January 2012.

The rooms are very quiet, as they look on an internal courtyard. (And I didn't hear anything from the neighbouring rooms, either.) The hotel was very convenient for me, as I was seeing friends in the 16th arondissement, but it would not be for those who are looking for a more central location.

Near to train station, and city center, and tourist attractions area. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and reasonable room cost and shutter service to airport. Spiral staircase to room is a bit tight in space and the door entrance after staircase walk up is a bit small and need a some strong arm force to pull open(especially difficult for a petite lady to open) before reaching the room door.

I had a comfortable stay, the room was quite spacious and cozy and good bathroom facilities. It was nice to be able to walk outside right out of my room. The location was good for me as I was attending a meeting nearby and I could do some shopping at lunch for example and drop things off at my room. The internet connection was one of the main factors for choosing the hotel, however it was terribly slow and no way for me for example to chat with my family back home by skype or check in for my flight or access work email.

I have had a very unpleasant experience in this hotel. The bathroom was not clean. I mentioned this to the reception who said coldly that they could do nothing. I went out to dinner came back and slept in the hotel. In the morning I informed the hotel management that I wished to leave and did not wish to remain for the second night under the circumstances. They said they wished me to pay a second night nonetheless. There ensued an extremely unpleasant, very French, aggressive exchange between the management and I who also came to inspect the room to see the state of the bath. Finally they gave up on payment of the second night and I left the hotel. Anyone who is not ready for a row in Molière's tongue should definitely avoid the hotel.

1. Helpful staff, ready to guide you to destinations in Paris 2, Free Breakfast - continental and was of pretty good quantity, so you never felt hungry 3. Large rooms and bathrooms. All amenities provided. 4. Double blankets so never felt cold. 5. Great location - in the heart of the city very close to the Eiffel Tower. 6. Easy access to metro. 1. Heater of our room didn't work, and was never repaired. 2. Phone should contain a list of numbers like reception etc.

It is well placed off the main rue de Passy road which is very busy, so it is nice a quiet. The breakfast was worthwhile, and extras were able if required. Shopping, sightseeing and Tennis events nearby. Rooms clean and in good condition, but if you had upper floor rooms the stairs are not so easy to negotiate with luggage. In good weather it has a pretty patio garden area for taking breakfast or sitting outside. The stairs if you have a room on an upper floor. No computer access, although there was Wifi. Without my own computer I had to go to a cyber cafe.

“I really enjoyed staying at the Cecillia as it was run by friendly and courteous staff. It was very clean and the breakfast was lovely and plenty to eat. It was very near to the attractions and the bus to the airport was only round the corner. I will definately be going back to stay there and would recommend it to anyone.” Jean, Manchester |
