From the entrance the hotel gives you a very good impression of the inside. Location is very very good close to several metro stations. We got premium room and the size was perfect. Very helpful staff and very clean room.
I had the impression that breakfast was included! If you book from their website it is but if you book from Booking is not, so we got confused! The bath tab is a bit narrow and quite slippery, they could use a bath mat inside.
Location is best. Very near to two Metro stations. A food market outside with good chantal cheese for sale. Walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral and Latin quarter food street. I will stay here again.
Bed too small for two persons.
Location Excellent helpful reception staff Clean and well maintained
Breakfast quite basic for the cost. Bathroom fine but the separate toilet located in a tiny space with only just enough room to close the door behind you.
Good staff clean hotel good location
The bed was two single bed put together very uncomfortable kept moving apart not a good night sleep
- The rooms are rather small, but well equipped with everything you need - People at the reception are all polyglot, they speak three or even four languages. I like enjoy this very much. - The chief person in the breakfast room (a black woman) is very kind and she let you feel, when you are not here for the first time
Location and size of room
The elevator was not working many times and there is a kindergarden next to the hotel so everyday children shouting in the playground for hours since 7am
The location was great near restaurants and attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were nicely decorated.
Didnt like the fact that there was no bar. There was only an honesty bar.
The hotel is one street away from the metro, but is on a quiet street. Only five minutes from Notre Dame, which we walked to each evening, so beautiful all lit up. A huge range of cafés, restaurants and shops which are mostly open late into the night. Breakfast at the hotel is very good" the staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a good safe, which was free, so able to leave valuables in the room. A lovely stay and would definitely come back here.
We had some problems with the air conditioning, so the room was quite warm. However if we'd mentioned it to the staff I'm sure they would have sorted it. Was just Avignon too much fun.
Excellent location. 5 - 10min walk to Notre Dame, and metro literally just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants & bars nearby. We had a superior room which was quite big by Paris standards, with a balcony from which we could see Notre Dame's spire. Didn't bother with breakfast at the hotel as there were plenty of other places nearby which were cheaper. The narrow laneways of the Latin Quarter, which are full of reasonably priced restaurants for dinner, are a short 10 min stroll away. We stayed 3 nights & loved every minute of it. Will definitely go back to this hotel - I wouldn't even look at any others. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
*Location was ideal for area around Notre Damme. *Off the main road and quiet. *Staff on reception very helpful.
*Breakfast was not included in the price and expensive for the choice provided. *Rooms quite small and air con needed to be on all night otherwise it was too hot (oct). *Shower fairly weak and shower head could not go very high. *Chest of drawers would have been better than shelves in the cupboard. One shelf was too high, even for me at 6ft tall.
The service was exceptionally good, and the hotel itself far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and I would return there tomorrow!
Central location, yet quiet. State of the art rooms.
Having to book (and pay) a double even though it was just me traveling.
Close proximity to all the attractions in Paris. Easy access to the bus and railway station. Service from the front desk staff was great, Andre and Andrea. Thank you both.
Hotel is in great location.Bars and restaurant's nearby and only a short walk to Rue de Mouffetard. Reception staff are professional and very helpful. Cleanliness throughout.
Nothing at all .
Good location. Nice and helpful personnel
Really small rooms and access to them (stairs, halls, elevators etc) but that's typical for Paris hotels.
The location is excellent. Comfortable bed, in room safe, kettle and mini fridge. Large bathroom.
The room didn't look like the pictures, small window, tub shape is difficult to stand in to shower because it narrows towards the end (do not stay here if you have any balance issues) . We also had trouble with our key and hair dryer not working.
Excellent location - close to metro, lots of cafes, sites, shops, but on a quiet street. Excellent staff - very friendly front desk and housekeeping. We stayed a week and they knew our names and chatted. The breakfast lady was a bit terse though. Room was very comfortable - smallish but average for central Paris. The beds and pillows were great (this is why I book 3-star hotels, minimum, in Europe). A/c worked well and was quiet. Breakfast was ok - in the basement. Looked like a wine cellar, which was kind of cool, but still a bit dreary for breakfast time (no windows). Lots of fresh cut up fruit, nice juice, yogurt, variety of breads, pastries, cheeses. They offer only scrambled (microwaved - they told us) eggs. So the breakfast was ok when you have to hurry, but better to go to a cafe as usual in Paris.
Our only issue with the room was that the ventilation system in the hotel somehow vented the smell of cigarettes into the bathroom!? If we didn't close the bathroom door, the room took on a cigarette smell! Although it quickly dissipated if we opened the window for a half hour. Maybe it was just our room or floor that may have been near a staff break room (I'm guessing)? Anyway, it didn't bother us really.
What a lovely place to stay in Paris. You will love the setting, the little garden, the comfort of the honesty bar, the "personality" of the rooms, the friendliness of the concierge (Mr Andre is not a receptionist, more like a front desk manager or a concierge). Very convenient and in a quiet street - metro very close, restaurants, shops, Notre Dame, La Sorbonne...
Staff very friendly and helpful. Premises neat and looked after
The first day my wife got some stale gluten free products for breakfast served between 7 to 10 30 but if you get there by 9 45 you dont know how much is left on the buffet!! Sat morning no croissants or pastrys very little cheese. Dont think they top up but they still charge you 15 euros. Over all was all good. I am not complaining just some feedback towards improvement in the future.
Beds comfortable Good black out of curtains Quiet outside as off main street and yet within 3 minutes' walk of main Latin Quarter
Close to Notre Dame within walking distance to Louvre and Musee D'Orsay.
No kettle in the room
Location. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Small rooms. Lack of toiletries. Poor in room coffee/tea
Located on a quiet street, a few blocks walking distance to the sights and sounds of a tourist's dream.
Location. Friendly staff. Room facilities.
