Everything was superb. Great staff. Excellent location, right next to the amboise royal castle. We could see it AND the Loire river through our room windows. Thanks for a great end to our holiday guys! |

large comfortable rooms nice views after lots of travel around europe this was the only hotel which charged us for a flask of hot water to take on our travels despite being one of the more expensive places of stay. staff were abit stuffy and up themselves and couldn,t relate in a relaxed fashion as australians do |

Room was very clean and had nice amenities in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The atmosphere was a bit haughty as compared with other places in France where we have stayed. Could easily hear noise from other guests. |

The hotel's location was within site and walking distance of the chateau and town of Amboise. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean and a decent size. The chateaus and towns of this area are charming. It's a wonderful place to visit. If coming by train, be sure you have explicit directions. It is walkable but not easy w/bags. We made the mistake of thinking a cab could be found at the train station. We were blessed by the help of a stranger, a local woman who I deemed the "Angel of Amboise". She drove my wife and I and our bags to the hotel at 10:30 PM. I offered her money for her trouble and she would have none of it. Merci Madame! Bring Visa or Mastercard, Amex is accepted at very few places. Coffee at the hotel was 4 Euros per person. |

Beautiful manor house hotel, room excellent (we were in the cottage annexe in the grounds). Staff professional and helpful. Highly recommended as a base to explore the chateaux country and vinyards.Impressive royal castle as a backdrop! |

Very close to the town center of Amboise, and within walking distance of all shops, resturaunts and tourist venues. A very flexible staff, with a security entrance/exit system on the property. On site secure parking as well. |

Het personeel was super. Niets was te veel.De kamers waren zeer verzorgd en het geheel prachtig. Ook een veilige afgesloten parking. En vlakbij het kasteel en het centrum. We vonden het spijtig dat ze geen toelating hadden om iets te koken zodanig dat je geen eitje bij het anders overheerlijke ontbijt kon bestellen. |
