Le Meridien Nice

Havde booket De Luxe værelser hjemmefra og havde inden kontaktet hotellet med henblik på at sikre at der var Balkon/Terasse på værelserne. Det viste sig at Balkon i Frankrig = fransk altan. Personalet var total uforstående og meget lidt servicemindede i den forbindelse. Det lykkedes os efter meget dialog at få byttet ét af værelserne til et med en stor terasse. Det er frustrerende når en væsentlig forudsætning for at tage dette hotel var, at der var mulighed for at sidde udenfor.

Ændre beskrivelsen af værelserne på booking siden, så det klart fremgår at de fleste værelser er med små franske altaner og kun få værelser er med terasser man kan sidde på.

Hotellet ligger godt, tæt på centrum og med gode indkøbsmuligheder og mange spændende spisesteder til rimmelige priser.

Vi spurgte efter et bestemt værelse, og fik et underlig afvisende svar.Det ville nok være en god ide at uddanne personalet bedre til at håndtere dette og være sælgere. Vi stod med en fornemmelse af, at vi ikke fik et værelse af den standard, vi havde bestilt og kom til at betale for.

noise from the avenue, charge for the beach is too high it should be free for resident, no WIFI in the room

Room was very basic with no balcony or view. No kettle in room which was a concern with a baby to make bottle food.

Not appropriate in a hotel of this standard to make a charge for sun loungers and towels. Also Hotel Meridian Beach Plaza Monte Carlo, does not make extra charge for this service. Charge also taken for Sauna, use of fitness centre. These services in other 4* hotels are free to guests.

the staff were excelent and the facilities were finethe roof top pool was excelent if a little expensive for drinks

whilst the hotel was clean and the facilities fine the overall decor of the room was dissapointing as it needs renovation and would not in my opinion be classified as a 4 star

The person at the hospitality desk for preferred customers greeted me like a regular.My room was upgraded with a smile.Loved the bathroom.The service at poolside terrace is very good. Checking out was easy and fast.

We stayed for 5 nights, and spent at least 3 days across the road lying at La Plage Ruhl - on the deck chairs (which you pay for, but get a discount as a hotel guest). This was a great way to read a book and catch some sun. The hotel staff were really accommodating, spoke perfect English, and gave us a few good places to eat and visit (the flower markets in the old town). The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were very nice.

The internet rates in the room were very expensive (there is a McDonalds next door with free WifF). There was no kettle in the room to boil water for tea (you had to pay for the staff to bring via room service).

I loved the spacious rooms and the way the room was build up, the view was beautiful

This hotel though it may not look much from the exterior is an absolute gem. The staff are ALL incredibly helpful and courteous. A special mention for Claudia on Reception who from the outset set the tone for the rest of our trip with her help and advice on places to visit and be enetertained.

There was nothing good about the hotel not even the location and it had a very stiff atmosphere

Even at the price i piad there was no wi fi they asked for extra money and the TV in the room also had to be paid for some crazy amount to watch TV

I was not so satisfate about this hotel, one hour to bring up the luggage,by accident I left the garage via the stairs,because of a defect lift,what I found there was unbelievable urine every where,excrements at the second level......The floor in my room was not clean................

The hotel is situated at an excellent location. Close to shops and restaurant at the beach
