La Terrasse du Colonial Café is a rooftop restaurant which serves the same menu as Le Colonial Café. It offers breakfast from 10:30 to 12:00, and it is open from 12:00 to 22:00 for lunch and dinner. Set in a decor of teak tables and cream fabrics, this 10th-floor restaurant welcomes you in a chilled out atmosphere where you can enjoy a cocktail du jour or read the newspaper.
The hotel provides white, soft duvets and large pillows for a home-sweet-home intimacy, with cushions on the bed.
To strengthen the cosy feel in the bathroom, there are soft deluxe towels in a wicker basket. A black lacquered plate and a chromium-plated box constitute the basic elements of the stylish decor.
Please note that the rooms can only accommodate up to 3 people.

The location is fantastic. The pictures shown on the website are not showing the truth: the carpet in the room was very dirty, the pool is very small, and we had to pay even for using the beach. |

my room was described as having a city view but all I could see were the buildings on the opposite side of the street. I was very disappointed as this was supposed to be a very special holiday and I felt it certainly wasn't money well spent not suitable for a relaxing summer holiday therefore money wasted |

Location perfect for walking Nice. Rooftop Terrace gave great views away from traffic. The view from room was sterile and lifeless. The option of a stairway to rooms not available. Room definitely dated but comfortable. |

Very pleasant and helpfull staff. Great customer service. Excellent location. Roof top terrace restaurant is very nice with great views. No real negaitve comments - The Hotel is quite expensive and meals and drinks in the Hotel are very pricey. There is a mcdonalds restaurant and casino at the ground level right next to the hotel - which spoils the high expectation of a grand hotel when you arrive. |

I thought the welcome letter from the concierge was a great touch. The car park didn't have adequate signage for entrance to the hotel. After parking our car, we found ourselves wondering around in some scummy unmarked stair well. We tried our luck on maybe 4 or 5 doorways (one on each flight of stairs) before we finally stumbled on the service entrance into the hotel. I'm sure I wasn't the first either, and I most certainly wasn't the last . On the numerous occasions I left the hotel through the street entrance, I saw other patrons emerging from the same service entrance with confused looks on their faces. Pretty poor really for this quality of hotel. |

Hotel location is great (on the seaside and a few metres from shopping district and old city). Deluxe room: amazing seaview! A coffe on the terrace bar is a must. Breakfast is definitely too expensive, in a 50m range there's plenty of cozy bars for a delicious breakfast at a third of the cost. |

We like that The Le Meridien Nice hotel is located at the famous Promenade des Anglais, facing the sea, easily acces the old town and its market and shopping centre are just 10 minutes away, it is easily to discover the city and surrounding area by walking, private beaches are very close to the hotel, good room service,complementary water, luxury Sea View room,with large balcony, lcd tv, tasty breakfast Absent coffee/tea making facilities in room, not enough tv channels in room, there are not breakfeast included in the double Junior Suite price |

Not appropriate in a hotel of this standard to make a charge for sun loungers and towels. Also Hotel Meridian Beach Plaza Monte Carlo, does not make extra charge for this service. Charge also taken for Sauna, use of fitness centre. These services in other 4* hotels are free to guests. |
