Wi-fi is not free - it's strange for **** star hotel. Cleanliness was not good and every day maids disturbed us in the morning. The balkonys are very small. The rooms are unrepaired. |

I thought the welcome letter from the concierge was a great touch. The car park didn't have adequate signage for entrance to the hotel. After parking our car, we found ourselves wondering around in some scummy unmarked stair well. We tried our luck on maybe 4 or 5 doorways (one on each flight of stairs) before we finally stumbled on the service entrance into the hotel. I'm sure I wasn't the first either, and I most certainly wasn't the last . On the numerous occasions I left the hotel through the street entrance, I saw other patrons emerging from the same service entrance with confused looks on their faces. Pretty poor really for this quality of hotel. |

Hotel location is great (on the seaside and a few metres from shopping district and old city). Deluxe room: amazing seaview! A coffe on the terrace bar is a must. Breakfast is definitely too expensive, in a 50m range there's plenty of cozy bars for a delicious breakfast at a third of the cost. |

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. The heated roof-top pool and restaurant terrace were superb. The piped music in all public places, including the lifts |

We like that The Le Meridien Nice hotel is located at the famous Promenade des Anglais, facing the sea, easily acces the old town and its market and shopping centre are just 10 minutes away, it is easily to discover the city and surrounding area by walking, private beaches are very close to the hotel, good room service, complementary water, luxury Sea View room, with large balcony, lcd tv, tasty breakfast Absent coffee/tea making facilities in room, not enough tv channels in room, there are not breakfeast included in the double Junior Suite price |

Not appropriate in a hotel of this standard to make a charge for sun loungers and towels. Also Hotel Meridian Beach Plaza Monte Carlo, does not make extra charge for this service. Charge also taken for Sauna, use of fitness centre. These services in other 4* hotels are free to guests. |

Location, pool deck My room must have been one of the older ones that had not been redone b/c it just looked dated and the carpet was kind of worn and dirty, paint was chipping, things were just not that nice. i was disappointed with the room, esp. for the price. The pool on the roof was amazing, and it was the whole reason I chose this hotel, however, when we arrived in the afternoon,it was completely full and there was no where for us to sit. Sad. |

We stayed for 5 nights, and spent at least 3 days across the road lying at La Plage Ruhl - on the deck chairs (which you pay for, but get a discount as a hotel guest). This was a great way to read a book and catch some sun. The hotel staff were really accommodating, spoke perfect English, and gave us a few good places to eat and visit (the flower markets in the old town). The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were very nice. The internet rates in the room were very expensive (there is a McDonalds next door with free WifF). There was no kettle in the room to boil water for tea (you had to pay for the staff to bring via room service). |

Service was very good. They charge for everything, almost from the towels to the chairs in the beach, it is very expensive. Internet has a very high cost, and the TV is very bad... unless you pay, of course. |

Very Good Location, Public parking (@ 24euros daily) nearby very convenient The hotel need restoration The room with patio view feels like being in jail and has no balcony. Internet services are very expensive. I was unfortunate to meet a very aggressive receptionist The smell is very heavy in the hotel. |

This hotel though it may not look much from the exterior is an absolute gem. The staff are ALL incredibly helpful and courteous. A special mention for Claudia on Reception who from the outset set the tone for the rest of our trip with her help and advice on places to visit and be enetertained. |
