As soon as I checked in I was served by a very rude male staff member who really upset me and my partner never have I been treated such way as a paying customer I would never stay here again after the way I was spoken to.
The location can't be beat, very nice staff, complimentary coffee each morning, nice clean rooms, large bathroom, nice roof top bar with great views.
This hotel was our big "splurge" for the final two days of our trip so we were expecting more bang for our buck. It felt more like a convention/business center hotel than a luxury retreat. The pictures of the roof top bar and pool were very enticing but the pool was closed for chemical treatment both times we tried to go up and enjoy the pool. We stayed at a hotel right across the street which was much cheaper and had a lovely balcony overlooking the park- with just as nice room accommodations. The view from our room was of other hotel rooms! (not a new, nor balcony). Overall, it was a nice hotel, great location but not worth the price.
The location of this hotel and the docor are lovely
Manner of the staff. They are rude. Rude. Rude. I asked one Member of staff what time and location of the next bus to the airport and the answer was "here at the meridian we deal with taxis, not busses". V strong smell of sewerage in the hallways.
Breakfest,staff and location was exellent.
the hotel can have a fresh up
We've booked two rooms, and requested the rooms should be adjoining or closed by. When we were checking in, the hotel gave us rooms in 2 different floors, 1 in 3 and the other in 8 floor. I asked the Staff to change the rooms as per my request, they gave us rooms in a same floor, nine, 947 and 979, which are one in the end of corner of the left wing, and the other at the end of the right wing, so in fact it was around 200 meter away from each other. It was inacceptable.
Never returned Again
The room was great with a fab deck and view. Recommend dinner on the Terrace, it has a spectacular view over the Nice coastline and ocean front
We were having lunch next door at the Hard Rock Cafe and I noticed that the hotel had twin rooms for 220 euros. As I was next door I walked over and asked reception but was told all those rooms had been sold out and the cheapest was now 400 euro plus. Went back to the iphone app and booked on booking.com for 220
Location was good.
I had bad experience whic I will never go to this hotel. I believe bad habits of the employees are mostly coming through their managers and writing this just I believe something should be managed better with such hotel. At the arrival nobody welcomed at the door and we tried to handle our logage by ourselves. The lady asked me for the dredit card which the rservation was made which was belonged to the inviter company and when I explained, the Lady in reception told me that she cannot accept the reservation at 10 pm. It is important that the reservation was paid 100% and the hotel has received and confirmed the payment. The lady named"Odile" explained me that lots of the guest in this hotel have been used the stolen credit cards!!!!!!!!! The message I got was that I have paid lots of money to the hotel who mark me thief at the welcome arriaval. And the other that many theives are using Meridien as Odile says. I wish her manager has good excuse to this very low class behavior.
Location perfect. View from hotel spectacular. Service of front desk staff and baggage handlers friendly & efficient in fact all staff very approachable.
No tea & coffee facilities in the room.
Position excellent - beachfront and close to Old Town Staff generally helpful and pleasant Well equipped gym
Pool area is ONLY a pool - no area to dry off or sunbathe except for chairs at restaurant - staff there not helpful or accommodating at all. We chose this hotel because of pebble beaches and it advertised a rooftop pool area, where we planned to relax. We were obviously not the only people who felt this way as while we were there several people came dressed in swimming costumes, saw the pool and turned around and left as there was nowhere to lie.
Staff were extremely helpful in assisting me with my mobility needs.
The location was right on the beach easy walk to shops and old town. Plenty of action every day and breakfast (room service) excellent and filling. Would stay again.
Only it's location
New coach party arrivals every hour ! Noise of other guests (not the fault of the hotel of course). That I had to ask for everything not in the room. No free water. No tea/coffee making facilities.Being placed on a non-smoking floor when I had specifically asked for a smoking room. Long wait for room-service, Yes - it was a very busy transient (one night stop) for coach parties but not conducive to relaxation !
Location is brilliant, the view from the rooftop bar amazing. Easy walking distance to old Nice.
Hotel it's veeery basic and in desperate need of a face lift. Purple is not a flattering colour.
Location was very good room was fine bed was good we slept well
Bathroom was in need of attention acrylic on bottom of bath was coming off mold above shower no sunbeds at pool we had to pay to get beds on beach a bit disappointed as it was not cheap to stay there
no attempt to welcome e customers or make the visit special. More a business type hotel .
Location very good, views lovely, room service (George) very attentive bringing buckets of ice and platter of fresh fruit. Also plate of chocs and water delivered.
Just outside of lobby very dirty and lot of litter from macdonalds, reception staff unwelcoming and one in particular rude, couldn't check in till after 2pm even though had requested 11am on booking when asked. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No sitting/ lounge area round rooftop pool, veru basic. Refused a drink (as resident) on rooftop bar at 10.30 at night as they were closing .
the location is the best and nearest one to the old city of nice including the massena square and the luxurious boutiques. it has a very lovely and romantic view over the Promenade des Anglais.
the hotel looks a bit old from the interior and exterior but that doesn't mean that it's unlivable.
The room , the staff , every thing actually
All was good except the meat which shd have been more tender (Terrace). Merci
Dated decoration/style, condition.
We were given room 931 and there is an incessant humming coming from either the air condition or pool equipment on the roof. The hotel was full so we could only change our room for the second night. We were moved but not compensated or upgraded for the trouble. In the bathrooms there were brown spots on the grout between the tiles and the paint was peeling on the ceiling at other points it was poorly finished. The breakfast was ok but not worth 25 euro.
It was just great Thank you
Locality to beach
Room décor - none very boring no wardrobe or drawer space dated dull iron was rubbish and ironing board falling apart extortionate prices no tea making facilities 44 euros per day to use beach! Quality of breakfast uncomfortable pillows and bed
the rooms the corridors ( doors half broken, paint with scraches on the wall) the pool is a joke as you cannot lay next to it, and this is very incovenient with young children, not relaxing at all. the bathroom was old and dirty,( hair in the bath and not a clean aspect) they did not change my bed sheet although my daughter had pull a full bottle of chocolate on it ( sorry things happen with a 2 yeares old)so i had to sleep on a wet matrass on the second night!! they doid not replace the dirty towels thatwere on the floor so i only had 1 towel when i came back late at night. no amenities, not even a complementary bottle of water but many candys to buy on display. i will never use that hotel again and certainly have done and will continue to give my no recommandations. it is a dirty old factory that they try to sell as upmarket. very very desapointing will go back to the radisson they know true service. best regards
