Unforgettable seaview room in best of town position, luxury pure!

We upgraded our room it was amazing. the staff was very good and the location was great

Some of the room have not been updated. Our kids room was very dated but clean and comfortable.

Location perfect for walking Nice. Rooftop Terrace gave great views away from traffic.

The view from room was sterile and lifeless. The option of a stairway to rooms not available. Room definitely dated but comfortable.

No real negaitve comments - The Hotel is quite expensive and meals and drinks in the Hotel are very pricey. There is a mcdonalds restaurant and casino at the ground level right next to the hotel - which spoils the high expectation of a grand hotel when you arrive.

Excellent location, the room was very nice with all the expected amenities. The view is very good from the hotel.

Wi-fi is not free - it's strange for **** star hotel. Cleanliness was not good and every day maids disturbed us in the morning. The balkonys are very small. The rooms are unrepaired.

I thought the welcome letter from the concierge was a great touch.

The car park didn't have adequate signage for entrance to the hotel. After parking our car, we found ourselves wondering around in some scummy unmarked stair well. We tried our luck on maybe 4 or 5 doorways (one on each flight of stairs) before we finally stumbled on the service entrance into the hotel. I'm sure I wasn't the first either, and I most certainly wasn't the last . On the numerous occasions I left the hotel through the street entrance, I saw other patrons emerging from the same service entrance with confused looks on their faces. Pretty poor really for this quality of hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. The heated roof-top pool and restaurant terrace were superb.

The piped music in all public places, including the lifts

views on the sea , nice room full of light, nice swimming pool

noise from the avenue, charge for the beach is too high it should be free for resident, no WIFI in the room

Location

Room was very basic with no balcony or view. No kettle in room which was a concern with a baby to make bottle food.

Not appropriate in a hotel of this standard to make a charge for sun loungers and towels. Also Hotel Meridian Beach Plaza Monte Carlo, does not make extra charge for this service. Charge also taken for Sauna, use of fitness centre. These services in other 4* hotels are free to guests.
