I stayed at Le Meridien Etoile for the first time, as it was recommended by my friend. I have an over all wonderful experience and will recommend the hotel to friends and more especially I look forward to my next stay there.

We were allowed to check in early and were given an upgrade as that was the only room available. On walking in the door we were approached by doorman asking )in english) if we needed help with luggage. Check in staff (Grace) was extremely helpful and informative giving us a map and directions to the metro station etc. Hotel had a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pillows on the bed were so soft we were tempted to lounge on the bed rather than explore Paris. The was fully equiped with an iron, ironing board, safe and hairdryer.

The mini bar is computerised so moving anything by accident causes an automatic charge on the bill. I paid €7 for biscuits I didn't have.

Hotel is perfectly located in Paris to mix business and leisure, modern and clean with good staff.

The breakfast is terrible and poor and at a 29 Euro charge! Better go to the brasserie next door!

Great location in the heart of Paris. Comfortable and well presented. Good restaurant, if a bit pricey.

Ridiculously expensive bar prices. Don't even think about it - eur27 for a Jack Daniels and Coke and a scotch!! Some great restaurants and bars locally offer far better value. And no, the jazz does not make up for it.

Well situated in the city. The breakfast was amazing.

That it was a Starwoods hotel

I did not like the check-out process. Morning check-out is when most people leave, and yet the staff at reception desk was a bear minimum.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Location was very convenient. The Airport shuttle drops you off right in front of the hotel

Very busy hotel. You have to queue to check in. I got into the room; the minibar / fridge was locked. It took them an hour to send somebody to unlock it; and therefore, to get a bottle of water.

The hotel is near to the station.

The rooms are small compared to the number of stars

My husband and i visited the hotel fpr our 20th wedding anniversary and were treated to a complimentary bottle of champagne and fresh fruit basket when we arrived at our room and we were also given preffered guest passes. The staff were very delightful.
