Hotel Morand  

Excellent breakfast in pleasant dining room. Kettle in room to make your own teas and coffees. Friendly and helpful manager. I very much recommend this hotel.

Very good quality for the price. Our room was very clean, staff is very friendly. No problems here. Hotel is located within walking distance of old town center.

Do not forget that it is a 2 star hotel in an old, not so well maintained, building. Do not expect too much (staircase is making noises, it is not even etc).

Very simple, basic, there is no elevator and a twisting stairs that makes it difficult to go up with luggage and a child.

The receptionist was a very cooperative fellow, always there to help. Hotel Morand is located on a very convenient spot, both close to the city centre - market and to the train station.

The breakfast was poor. At the third day of my staying in the hotel not only did they forgot to remove the garbage from the room, but also let it lie on my staff. It is a very old but renovated hotel. Sometimes you can here other tenants' activity, because of the absent soundproofing.

Discreet, helpful and friendly atmosphere and personnel

lack of lift: ( I am nearly 80 and going up 3 stairs, but again the gentleman at the door, very kindly,carried my luggage to my room on the 3rd. floor ) Next time I might book a ground floor or first floor, even if it is dearer.

I was freezing in my room....

Very welcoming owner. Lovely warm room. Old style charm. Relaxed. Excellent location for railway station and old city. Good value.

The breakfast was good but I would have really liked some fresh coffee (not instant).

As you see in other people's comments, the building and facility are old. It has an atmosphere of historic building, but it would be better if it is refurbished. Room is not big, but it is normail in France.

Nothing, althoght the beds were clean and the staff were friendly

the electric toilet, the shower was blocked, rooms needed decorating badly..the wardrobe was full of polyfiller.

central for rouen,within easy walking distance of lots of really good restaurants, parking outside the hotel free after 7pm until 9am, good value breakfast, Thomas the receptionist spoke very good english and was very helpfull,

there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the shower in the room above needs a plumber urgent.

Bathroom rather small and obsolete

Very central location - slightly off the main drag but only 5 mins to main city centre. Beds comfortable.

A bit noisy late at night (city centre) but didn't disturb the children. Rooms a bit tired - don't stay here if you are looking for luxury. Reception closes a bit too early.
