This former mill is situated in Normandy, 15 minutes (15 km) to the Mont Saint Michel and yet away from its hubbub, and it welcomes you as a charming 3-star hotel on the banks of the Sélune River.

Friendly, very helpful staff! Charming, picturesque location. Great to have adequate parking. Great for going to Mont St. Michel (avoid staying near the awfulness of that very touristry place). Certainly not a "chain hotel" experience.

The staff was always friendly and helpful.

The TV Channels are a poor selection if you do not want to use the paying channels.

Beautiful location for a unique hotel.great staff and facility would have liked to have stayed longer than 2 nights. Very intimate for being associated with a chain. Much like a b&b but with the privacy of an inn.

Charming, small, family-owned hotel (a converted mill) in a quaint village. Expensive (due to the terrible exchange rate). Small room, yet comfortable with view of picturesque stream and rooftop of a nearby chateau.

No evening meal provided but very happy with manager's recommendation to dine at the Logis de France just around the corner.

Bait and switch. They gave us a cramped room in the attic with a tiny old TV and no windows that would open. When we complained, they "magically" had a better room for 15 euros more. The rates on booking were the same as the rates on the door of the hotel. But the rate on booking was not for what one would normally consider a "standard" room, but a room that was like a broom closet with a bed

The owners made us feel very welcome, our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our view of the river from our bedroom. The hotel's car park was opposite the hotel and very convenient.

The location of this hotel is excelllent and also the ease of parking your car.

We just felt that the ability to use the bar was limited. However we did stay there on a Sunday evening which could have explained why the bar was not open?
