Hôtel Le Richebourg  

The hotel is nicely located in the center of the Burgundy wine area, close to the great wine cities Nuits St Georges, Vougeot, Beaune, Dijon, etc. Within a few minutes from the hotel you are on the main walking path which crosses the whole Burgundy through the vineyards and you can for instance make a nice walk from the hotel to the chateau Clos de Vougeot through the vineyards. The village of Vosne Romanee is a small one, so you need a car if you want to do other visits within the Burgundy area. We had booked with our friends two rooms with a view to the vineyards. The rooms are big and in a modern nice shape. However, the view to the vineyard was not really visible, it is more a view to the inside court (above the terasse, but with trees), so this was a bit too exaggerated in the hotel announcement. We also had the breakfast (which comes on top of the room price with 16€ per person), the breakfast buffet was good and had a good choice, however, it seems too expensive, especially because the room price with the "non-vineyard view" was already expensive. We also had a dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good and also the service was good and attentive. The hotel has also a spa area with sauna, hammam, etc, but we did not use it.

The room price seems a bit too expensive, considering that there is no vineyard view and the buffet breakfast has a separate high price tag. On top our friends had their room above the kitchen area which made some noise around 11 in the night and starting from 5 in the morning when they were preparing the breakfast. Within the small village of Vosne Romanee there is only one other restaurant (which is good!), so you need a car to visit other restaurants if you stay for a couple of days (like we did when we stayed over Easter days). But that is not really the hotel's problem.

Fab hotel with excellent facilities - perfect if you want to be pampered and don't mind paying the price. The booking was made particularly favourable thanks to the excellent rate offered through booking.com!!

Receptionist who dealt with us was a little off hand and slightly condescending

The rooms were large and comfortable and the bathroom was large. The hotel was very close to Nuits St George a cute little town for shopping and eating. I would recommend the hotel.

The restaurant was closed and breakfast was 16 euro per person. We passed on breakfast and drove to Nuits St George. Our room was supposed to have a vineyard view but because of the trees you could see a few vines. The hotel has a very small back yard. The pictures make it appear that they have lots of land behind the hotel. Also I would not reserve a parking spot. There is a lot for parking across from the hotel.

What a magnificent hotel! Very welcoming, rooms well laid out, well appointed and very comfortable. Service excellent - efficient but friendly. We stayed en route to Provence and actually disappointed that we couldn't stay longer. Breakfast was perfect, patio for relaxing drinks was perfect... Actually everything was perfect. Can't say anything better.

It is very elegant and the rooms modern and classy.

The website and other info said the dining room was not open on Sunday Night. However it was and it would have been helpful to know that in advance. The main dishes we had for the evening meal were disappointingly tasteless and uninteresting and did not match up to the style and price of the hotel or the standard of cuisine we had experienced elsewhere in hotels of similar quality.

Great location near the autoroute. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and wonderful bathroom. The restaurant is getting better every time i stay.

A bit trite but I am surprised that a hotel of this international standard does not have international channels on the television.

Hôtel haut de gamme,moderne, personnels très serviables,sympatiques.

Hôtel très bien entretenu. De belles chambres spacieuses . Agréablement surpris ! Accès facile au parking souterrain depuis les chambres. Nous y reviendrons .

Non so bene come funziona in Francia, ma la colazione a 16 euro a persona, non è pochissimo, comunque mancanza mia d'informazione.
