The bloke we dealt with was pleasant and well meaning.The location for L'Escaladieu couldn't be faulted as it's only 200 yards away.The room was clean and the bathroom quite large and newish.

Our booking told us that the hotel was open from 1.30 in the afternoon but there was no one in the place when we got there at about 3.00.After a visit to the Abbey,there was still no one there and the owner/manager didn't arrive until 5.00 after a phone call to him. The place was very much in "hors saison" mode and all we were offered for a main course at dinner was a choice of omelette.The manager/owner turned up 10 minutes late for breakfast the next day. If a place advertises itself as a hotel,it should provide hotel service,if it is unable to do so,it should inform prospective clients of the fact.

Good and reasonable priced location for visiting the Pyrenees, only a few hundred meters from the Abbaye de l'Escaldieu. Friendly owners.

Our small and barely furnished room (3 beds) was on the second floor under the roof. Had only a very small window and was very dark. It seems that the rooms on the first floor (2 beds) are better, some of them have a balcony and therefore more light. (And even if it's not important, but I'm really no fan of the wall papers in the design of the 1970s.)

Arrivée à 22h, j'ai été bien accueillie et j'ai pu négocier l'heure de mon petit déjeuner pour ne pas rater mon rdv de départ de randonnée à 9h à la gare à 30 mn de là je n'ai passé que 10h ds cet hotel alors que le site valait la peine d'y flaner!

Le téléphone était en panne, l'adresse n'était pas une rue ni route donc mon gps ne me donnait pas sa situation exacte(il fallait mettre les degrés et je n'utilisais mon gps que pour la 3e fois) donc j'ai cherché l'hotel ds la nuit pendant 1/2h...

Personnel pas très aimable et vetusté de la déco intérieure (le papier peint doit avoir une trentaine d'années), pas de tv ,

prix du petit déjeuner trop cher

Chambre sans douche, ni wc. Pas de télévision, mais ça on peut s'en passer. Dommage que lors de la réservation on ne soi pas au courant du type de chambre.

El encargado del hotel era muy amable y simpático, una persona muy maja. Era un sitio muy tranquilo, disponía de buena conexión de internet, dispone de un pequeño bar con terraza, amplio aparcamiento. Un buen sitio para pernoctar y continuar ruta a un precio muy bueno si no se desea nada más que un sitio para dormir sin grandes lujos. Viajábamos con un bebé y no tuvimos ningún problema.

Pequeñas cosas: la habitación era un poco pequeña, los muebles algo anticuados y particularmente lo que menos me gustó: la almohada era extremadamente blanda y el colchón duro (pero era un buen colchón).

Het personeel is weinig beschikbaar en weinig flexibel. Ontbijt is slechts mogelijk vanaf 08.30u. Avondmaal in het hotel is niet voorzien. Oubollig aandoend hotel en kamers.

J'ai été parfaitement accueillie par le gérant qui a pris la peine de me monter ma valise. éTat de propreté des chambres et des parties communes irreprochables. Possibilité de restauration sur place. Wifi gratuit dans tout l'hôtel. On se sent dans cet hôtel comme chez soi. Je recommande.

Dit hotel is op zijn retour. Geen klandizie. Bar en salle à manger zijn gesloten. In kamer hing een penetrante geur. Het was onmogelijk om met CarteBlue of Visa card te betalen, alleen cash werd geaccepteerd. Dit bleek trouwens pas bij uitchecken.
