Rejean and Mathieu are such personable and charming hosts. They are very kind people and pay great attention to detail to make your stay memorable. Do eat dinner in the restaurant as the food and wine are terrific. If you are traveling to Saint Emilion be sure to taste Chateau Troplong Mondot wine which is the vineyard where Les Belles Perdrix B and B is located. Your Navigation system will find the Chateau Troplong Mondot as your reference point. Try to arrive during daylight hours to more easily locate the small paved road leading to the entrance of the B and B.

Everything was excellent

Initially we were given a normal a room in the building next to the Chateau, which was nice but nothing out of the ordinary (given the price) we asked for other options and we were offered the cottage that is located in the middle of the vineyards, which is a beautifull 200 year old (fully renovated) small house with chimney, living rooom, big kitchen (although you can't cook) fridge. It is very romantic and private. The only "dowside" is that there isn't internet access.

Unless you have a car you will have to walk around 20 minutes to get to St Emilion city. Taxis are an option although you will have to request them in advance.

The restaurant was amazing, staff could not be more helpful, from winery tour, to booking us our taxi to the train station. Also, a great wine dog, Felix, was a great support making sure we were safely in our rooms, having fun on the wine trails - they are friendly dogs. The winery is a 15 minute walk to town, so we did the walk on the road and on. The wine trail. I would stay again and again!

Nothing could be wrong!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave great suggestions on things to do, dining at the restaurant and the chateau history and their wine.

Absolutely wonderful location, beautiful accommodations, very friendly staff, and great value. I'd go back again in a heartbeat!

The location overlooking the vineyards was superb. The facilities were excellent and the Rooms we had could quite easily have accomodated aa family or two couples. The breakfast was simple but appetising with freshly baked breads and croissants and homemade jams and yogurts with good quality coffee. A guided visit around the Chateau and the vineyards is a must and was higly informative. The literature says only a five minute walk to St emilion but it is really a good 10 minutes at least and at night you would probably need a good torch. THe terrace for Dining and breakfast (if Warm) is a delight as are the very reasonably priced wines on offer.

The room had a beautiful bathroom with good quality large towels. The restaurant food was delicious, although the main course was slightly small in portion size. The outlook over the vineyards is breathtaking. The swimming pool and gardens is a beautiful setting.

Would like a mini bar in room for drinks and a corkscrew. Restaurant is a long way from the pool area. The room was a bit stuffy and dark, but air conditioning is currently being installed.

We thought we were in heaven when we arrived at the Cottage in the middle of the vineyard! From the wonderful aromas of the lavender lining the driveway to the decadent clawfoot bathtub and warm and cozy living room with fireplace, Les Belles Perdrix is everything that one could dream of for a stay in a wine region of France! The view of Saint-Émilion from the Chateau was beautiful and the surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very gracious and accommodating, as our arrival was delayed. Breakfast was delicious, and having the opportunity to tour and taste at the winery was fabulous. We would highly recommend to everyone (and we have)! We have found the only place for us in Saint-Émilion!

We liked the comfort of beeing one of very few guests and the personalized service. The breakfast was excellent! The place was beautiful!

Lack of a minibar in the room. The bed is over due for a upgrade or a renewal ( we stayed in the Mahogny Room).

We were given the vineyard cottage away from the main accommodation so it was very quiet. The place has a really family feel to it, with perfectly set out facilities and cared for grounds. Breakfast was fantastic. The whole place felt luxurious and we were really cared for.

No a/c in the room made for a warmish night.

The staff and family run vineyard catered for our every need. They were courteous and extremely helpful and seemed genuinely delighted to have us as guests in what is a working and well respected premier vineyard of the region. The wine although a little on the expensive side, was a delight (particularly the Mondot which suited our less complex and refined pallets!) and well worth sampling should you visit. I would thoroughly recommend Les Belles Perdix.

Le cadre était superbe. La vue de la chambre (l'atelier) était merveilleuse. Nous avons adoré nous ballader à travers les vignes afin de rejoindre le village. Le repas était succulent et l'accueil très agréable

Nossa familia se dividiu entre o apartamento e a casa de campo. O apartamento é excelente e bem moderno, a casa de campo mais rustica mas confortavel. O Jantar ainda que um pouco formal, foi muito bom.

O pessoal do café da manhã tinha uma má vontade incrivel, a quantidade de croissants era restrira à um por pessoa, optamos por tomar cafe da manha no apartamento com nossas compras. Ainda que os apartamentos fossem muito bem equipados, era proibido usar a cozinha por questoes de seguranca. Na casa de campo nao tinha telefone para se comunicar com a sede ou apartamento, nem internet, que faz falta para ajudar a definir os roterios do dia seguinte. A agua quente tambem era bem restrita nos chuveiros. Ainda que o lugar fosse muito bonito, a impressao que dava é que não estavam la muito preocupado em receber bem.

On est comme chez soi, feu de cheminée et vrai salon, l'appartement l' atelier est à recommander, restauration excellente.

La situation géographique.....l'accueil ....etre presque "chez soi" quant au sentiment de bien etre qui se dégage de cet endroit . Cela fait deux fois que nous y allons , et sommes a L ' Atelier : un lieu plein de charme !! Le petit déjeuner, inclus , est suffisant, continental, et gouteux .... Nous y retournerons avec d'autres amis .....c'est sur !

......si vraiment, on veut chercher la petite "Bete" , on pourrait regretter de ne pas pouvoir avoir un room-service ,le soir, apres une longue journée de visite dans la région !!! Et avec le mini bar , quelques petits biscuits ou amandes ou autres seraient les bienvenus pour accompagner le champagne , par exemple !!! Enfin, un petit effort supplémentaire pour les produits d'accueil dans la salle de bains..... Mais tout cela n'est pas bien grave ....

Beliggenhet, nydelig suite, bra kjøkken, hyggelig personale.

Dårlig renhold på badet. Komfort ved poolen kunne vært bedre med mer solsenger etc. Noe sært at man har et stort kjøkken som det er "forbudt" å bruke. Nedligget madrass. Også sært å måtte betale for en enkel vinsmaking når man bor på stedet i flere dager.

Le cadre de l'hôtel est exceptionnel , le châteaux étant situé en plein cœur du vignoble de Saint Emilion avec une vue imprenable sur le clocher du village. Le dîner nous a été servi à l'extérieur sous une pergola offrant la encore une vue extraordinaire sur les vignes. Les plats servis étant d'une grande finesse et préparés à partir des produits frais du potager, le tout accompagné d'une carte des vins d'une richesse époustouflante. Le propriétaire nous a également offert un verre de Sauterne 1er grand cru classe avec le dessert : absolument grandiose!

L'atelier : Absolument à découvrir! Charme, calme, luxe, décoration et ameublement particulierement soignés, agréables...situation exceptionnelle face à Saint-Emilion avec la possibilité d'emprunter un petit chemin à travers les vignes qui part du domaine pour rejoindre Saint-Emilion (15 minutes à pied). Sans oublier, le menu composé en fonction du marché et le petit déjeuner servis sur une terrasse qui surplombe les vignes...A consommer sans modération et à recommander!

der sehr schlecht ausgeschilderte Weg von St Emilion zum Hotel (ohne gps fast unmöglich !) Unfassbar und absolut unpassend für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie : 4€ für ein Frühstücksei zusätzlich zu verlangen !!!! Das sollte im Frühstückspreis includiert sein
