It was clean and in a fabulous location. Yes you need a car to get here, but the place was great. The hotel was empty, but this is sorta nice actually. |

This was older ski lodge/ guest house type accommodation, comfortable and well used. The public areas were welcoming and spacious. Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony looking out across to the mountains. That view had us absolutely spellbound. It dominates the room and we could even lay in bed and look at it. We only had breakfast once because we felt it was not worth 9 euro |

Wonderful view from the rooms on the Mont Blanc side. Had dinner at the hotel and food was quite good. Although there was supposed to be free internet in the rooms hotel staff were unable to give me the correct password. Rooms quite basic, although this was not a problem for me. |

Nice atomosphere and decoration of the 1st floor. Free charge for child even using an individual bed. Cleaness.Nice view from room. Tarif. Shower. Very difficult and unconfortable to use without door. Floor is very wet after useing a shower and poor equipement. Excellent hotel but hesitate to use again if I go this area again, because of this very poor shower. |

We don't know that his location was up-hill (though only 5 min walk). It's inconvenient for guests who carry lugguges by train. It's possible to request him to send the car to pick you up from station if he is free time or available (only check in but after check out, it's on your business). |

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Food was good at dinner and breakfast we stayed at the hotel on route to and from Italy. 4/4/09 and 11/4/09 our first room was fine (would have slept 4)but our second room was cramped, with the shower cubicle in the bedroom and the toilet door hitting the bed, fine for a one night stop over but wouldn't have been suitable for any longer |

Friendliness of the staff It was a long walk from the hotel to town of Les Houches, I didn't realise this when I booked. |

Pleasant atmosphere, nice staff, good service and child friendliness - there were a lot of small children about. Would happily stay there again. Shower temperature affected by somebody else running the tap / flushing the toilet (only in the same bathroom). Also some people might not like the room size (though adequate if only to sleep in and out during the day) and the fact that the lift does not reach the top floor. |

All the Hotel Staff were really friendly and helpful. I was able to arrange for our ski hire through Maria before arriving at the hotel (You also get a discount on ski hire by doing this). Vincent the owner arranged a really nice meal for us on the night we arrived. The hotel also had a free shuttle bus to the cable car for ski slope, with the driver picking us up again at the end of the day. |

The Hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The meals were great and well priced. The regular minibus to the les Houches skilift in time for morning skischool. The proximity of the station. The fantastic views of Mont Blanc! The drinks were a little expensive particularly coffee and mulled wine - otherwise nothing! |

The attitude of the staff was very friendly and nice, in contrast of some other experiences in France. We had our own transport, so the fact that location is not central Chamonix was ok for us. But the view is great. They do not have sauna, which was valyable for me after skiing |

friendly welcome, willingness to provide hot food when we arrived late for dinner, sitting by the open fire before dinner, quiet reception room upstairs when downstairs was in party mode, excellent breakfast, simple, minimilist decor, very helpful staff, free public transport for the day. |
