It's central location means that you can be woken up by party goers staggering home in the early hours, as well as the bin men on a Sunday morning! The rooms were small and dated, one had some very low quaint but 'in the way' beams and both rooms could have done with some TLC. One of the rooms we booked had the curtains hanging off the hooks so the first thing we did was rehang them so that we could at least shut them, a job that took minutes and could have been done easily prior to our arrival! Similarly the rooms were very cold, it was in fact warmer outside, thankfully the heating worked so we were able to heat up the room, but it would have been nice to have arrived a room that was little more comfortable in temperature. It was November after all! Linens were rather tired looking. Beware also that there is no lift in the establishment and the stairs are steep, winding and narrow. The website certainly makes the rooms look much more attractive than in reality they are. We are unable to comment on the establishments food as the rooms did not inspire us to try out their restaurant. It is definitely a restauraunt first and a hotel second.
The hotel has a great location in the centre of Honfleur and close to the beautiful harbour. The rooms and linens were very clean.
