Very nice owner, good clean rooms, fair location.
Instead of room we ordered with patio, we got small room on the second floor with three separate beds.

Nothing, really amazing place
Beautiful garden, lovely surroundings, friendly hosts.
The couple who have restored this farmhouse to a very high standard are very welcoming and share the responsibility of looking after you. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful for an overnight stop. Their pets/animals are well kept and characterful! and kept at a distance if you're not keen. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
what a place to stay - it was brilliant the Hosts couldn't have done more they were so in the ball. Evening meal was suburb 10 out of 10 so was breakfast - fully recommend. Defiantly would stay here again
What didn't we like more like, stunning location with the warmest welcome, top quality facilities and just the perfect amount of attention. For the few extra quid the suite is worth every penny.
The fact we had to leave the next morning!
This was the first night of our short tour of Europe and really set the standard! The welcome we received was outstanding and became the benchmark for our holiday. Les Cheres Meres is undeniably inviting and a place where you can relax and totally 'chill out'. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, excellent facilities and above all, the food served was plentiful, home made and delicious - not to mention the wonderful local wine. Mark & Tina, did everything they could to make our short stay one to remember. Located in quiet countryside, surrounded by beautiful woodland, this little gem of a b & b, offers so much to the weary traveller or visiting explorer. When booking we would highly recommend booking half-board and make the most of your stay! You will not regret it!
Our stay was too short!
Lovely hospitality by the owners Mark & Tina. Nothing was too much trouble in making our overnight stay such a pleasure. Meeting all the animals and seeing how well looked after they are was a real treat.
Mark and Tina could not have made us more welcome especially as we arrived late after a fairly hideous journey in the pouring rain. The problem was to pull ourselves away from the fab breakfast and all the great animals in the morning to continue on our journey south. The children wanted to take the chickens home! I would recommend this place for a few days break as well as an excellent stop over for those heading further south. Will certainly go back.
Very friendly and helpful , great night sleep. Gave us free upgrade, which was terrific. Had lovely walk in nearby woods Gave us welcome drink and snack.
Main meal in evening not great, but lovely dessert. Breakfast, stodgy croissants Otherwise all right .
Having driven all day, most of it in horrendous rain in an open topped car, we arrived looking a little wet and bedraggled. Tina immediately offered to put our wet clothes in the tumble dryer and showed us to our lovely room with tea and coffee making facilities, much appreciated. Enjoyed a lovely home cooked evening meal with the other guests which was very nice and made a lovely change from just eating on your own, no shortage of some very nice wine which is all complimentary. Breakfast was varied and nothing is too much trouble for either Tina or Mark, their hospitality was second to none, made to feel that you had known them for years. Because of the rain we ate in the large homely kitchen but there is a lovely outside terrace, which, when the weather is good is where the meals are taken. Fantastic location for Le Mans, very close to the motorway. We were staying as an overnight stop over on our way home from the Dordogne but Les Cheres Meres is definitely somewhere we will return to. My advice though is to book early, Tina and Mark were such a lovely couple that I'm sure once people have discovered this little treasure you will return again and again.
The rain!!! But unfortunately Mark and Tina could do nothing about that but I'm sure if it had been within their power they would have.
Comfortable Room and very clean. Very nice evening meal. Breakfast was OK.
Steep stairs to our room
We had an excellent overnight stay at Les Chères Mères on our way from Spain to the UK. Lovely renovated Guesthouse with a nice garden (Little England in the heart of France), very rural, but within 15 minutes of the motorway. Great size, by French standards, room. Extremely comfortable night sleep. Welcome glass of wine on arrival, well, turned out to be a bottle in the end! Delicious and plentiful breakfast in the morning. If you like animals – dogs, cats, horses and many others (over 40 heads to feed every day, as Mark said) it’s definitely a place for you. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere, what else do you need after having to drive for the whole day. There are also plenty of nice walks in the nearby forest to stretch your legs. We could only wish we had more time to enjoy all this. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Tina and Mark easily made us feel like we were at home, and very soon it seemed to us that we had known both of them for ages. Everything was absolutely wonderful and we would not hesitate to recommend Les Cheres Meres to all.
Nothig really, maybe a lack of a small fridge in the room, but we are sure if need be the cool storage could be easily arranged by the hosts
Friendly staff, beautiful location, clean and comfortable room
Mark and Tina were gracious hosts who looked after us very well. They gave us dinner suggestions, a local map and glasses of complimentary wine and snacks.
Only stayed for an overnight but Mark & Tina were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Weather was good so dinner on the terrace with two other guests made the evening. Breakfast was also excellent. We felt totally looked after. We'll stay again next time we are in the area and hopefully explore Le Mans.
A Farmhouse b & b in the French countryside with Mark being extremely friendly and helpful. A great location for exploring the City of Le Mans and shopping in the excellent Mulsanne Family Village
Difficulty finding Les Cheres Meres from Saint Mars d'Ouitille as the sign in front of the church just 'pointed' without any other information!
