Room size Reception Bed Too far from city center Over priced Didn't get good response from receptionalist/owner. Not at all warm welcome.
I didn't like anything. Very rude staff, manner less people. I am a very frequent traveller and stayed in many hotels but never experienced such a worst hotel and a bad Staff. I don't recommend this hotel
-Very Friendly Staff -Location: Really close to the tube station. -Good Value for Money. - The Cat called Maya, she is so lovely. -Cleanliness - Cheapest Bar in Paris. Would stay there again.
-Shower a bit small -Room is basic, no tea or cofee facilities. Good expresse served at the reception though.
Affordable, kind staff, comfortable for couple as i take the couple room, neat n tidy, near to station n a lot of shop to eat. Thanks
Location Cleanliness Polite staff Good neighbourhood Many shops and restaurants nearby
Bed somewhat uncomfortable Shower very small Not completely soundproof
Near to the metro station, some restaurants and stores. Clean. Room was ok
40 minutes by metro to the mainly attractions, expensive breakfast, don't have a luggage room (luggage stays in the reception)
Helpful staff and friendly cafe restaurant.
Room needs modernising.
Comfortable bed, friendly personel, nice jazz nights
In non-smoking room EVERYTHING smelled cigarettes, the room wasn't soundproof and we had no kettle, so almost everything was an opposite than in description. The room was also really small
good free wi-fi friendly staff close to metro station
Bed is very comfortable and it is possible well sleeping. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Very early is nossy. In room is bad smell because building is old and sewerage too but so, it's very ok.
We loved this hotel more than any other we've ever stayed in, in Paris! Super comfortable beds, lovely atmosphere and beautiful cat called Maya in the cafe bar downstairs. Perfect hotel!
There's absolutely nothing I didn't like!
Hotel near metro station
No lift Staff don't speak English. When we ask for the map she just give us the metro map which we can get anywhere. It's not city map! Also when we ask about somewhere recommend she didn't know even she is French. Room Too small. Toliet super small. My boyfriend have to open the door when he use toilet. When we check-in they gave us the wrong key. I open the door and saw many stuff of another people. Omg !! Wifi not good.
The hotel had everything we needed, the neighbourhood was great - bohemian, chilled-off, rather for young people (during the night), good connection to the center by Metro. The staff in the hotel was nice and spoke english well. Moreover - our weekend was great! :-)
- price. - position ( near the metro, 300 mt), along the avenue there are several bar, pub, risto, so it's a good place to spend a quite evening near the hotel without going faraway if you are tired. - new bathroom ( at least in the room where I slept).
- no elevator to go up and down, - no wardrobe in the room - stairs a little bit narrrow and dangerous ( we had our baby with us, and his baby stroller also) - cleaning service not excellent - english worst than mine :-) ... but I think all in the norm since the low price of the hotel. and it remains a good option If you are considering to stay in hotel only for sleeping, as I made.
location, proximity of shops, restaurants, staff was very polite and helpful.
for the room located on the second floor: thin walls, small beds, towels seemed a bit unfresh, no ventilation in rooms.
The location is great, the area is lovely around the hotel. Definitely take some time to walk around Belleville. The staff at reception were nice. The bar downstairs looks nice but we didn't use it. Wifi is good.
Shared bathroom- what do you expect? Well I would have liked a shower room that I could move around in (it was about 1.2 metres squared! Including the shower!) , that didn't leak so that the whole floor and your shoes and socks would get wet. The room was dirty, just not a nice feel to it. The sink etc. were clean but the walls were not, and the whole place felt like it was a student flat from the 1980s or earlier. There was a constant stream of workers (both handymen and cleaners) up and down the corridor in the morning which was noisy and kind of uncomfortable when making the trip across the hall to the shower or toilet and back. I know Paris is pricey. But €64 per night for that was unfair. I've stayed in a lot of other cities with expensive reputations and never paid so much for so little.
We have tried different hotels in Paris around the same price but always end up back here great all rounder
Thanks to kind and helpful Alfreida and others, I had a wonderful 4 day stay. Explored Pere LaChaise Cemetery-fascinating. Great artsy neighborhood. Very friendly. Bakery a few steps out the door. Metro nearby. Loved it!
