Comfortable bed, friendly personel, nice jazz nights
In non-smoking room EVERYTHING smelled cigarettes, the room wasn't soundproof and we had no kettle, so almost everything was an opposite than in description. The room was also really small
good free wi-fi friendly staff close to metro station
Bed is very comfortable and it is possible well sleeping. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Very early is nossy. In room is bad smell because building is old and sewerage too but so, it's very ok.
We loved this hotel more than any other we've ever stayed in, in Paris! Super comfortable beds, lovely atmosphere and beautiful cat called Maya in the cafe bar downstairs. Perfect hotel!
There's absolutely nothing I didn't like!
Hotel near metro station
No lift Staff don't speak English. When we ask for the map she just give us the metro map which we can get anywhere. It's not city map! Also when we ask about somewhere recommend she didn't know even she is French. Room Too small. Toliet super small. My boyfriend have to open the door when he use toilet. When we check-in they gave us the wrong key. I open the door and saw many stuff of another people. Omg !! Wifi not good.
The hotel had everything we needed, the neighbourhood was great - bohemian, chilled-off, rather for young people (during the night), good connection to the center by Metro. The staff in the hotel was nice and spoke english well. Moreover - our weekend was great! :-)
- price. - position ( near the metro, 300 mt), along the avenue there are several bar, pub, risto, so it's a good place to spend a quite evening near the hotel without going faraway if you are tired. - new bathroom ( at least in the room where I slept).
- no elevator to go up and down, - no wardrobe in the room - stairs a little bit narrrow and dangerous ( we had our baby with us, and his baby stroller also) - cleaning service not excellent - english worst than mine :-) ... but I think all in the norm since the low price of the hotel. and it remains a good option If you are considering to stay in hotel only for sleeping, as I made.
location, proximity of shops, restaurants, staff was very polite and helpful.
for the room located on the second floor: thin walls, small beds, towels seemed a bit unfresh, no ventilation in rooms.
The location is great, the area is lovely around the hotel. Definitely take some time to walk around Belleville. The staff at reception were nice. The bar downstairs looks nice but we didn't use it. Wifi is good.
Shared bathroom- what do you expect? Well I would have liked a shower room that I could move around in (it was about 1.2 metres squared! Including the shower!) , that didn't leak so that the whole floor and your shoes and socks would get wet. The room was dirty, just not a nice feel to it. The sink etc. were clean but the walls were not, and the whole place felt like it was a student flat from the 1980s or earlier. There was a constant stream of workers (both handymen and cleaners) up and down the corridor in the morning which was noisy and kind of uncomfortable when making the trip across the hall to the shower or toilet and back. I know Paris is pricey. But €64 per night for that was unfair. I've stayed in a lot of other cities with expensive reputations and never paid so much for so little.
We have tried different hotels in Paris around the same price but always end up back here great all rounder
Thanks to kind and helpful Alfreida and others, I had a wonderful 4 day stay. Explored Pere LaChaise Cemetery-fascinating. Great artsy neighborhood. Very friendly. Bakery a few steps out the door. Metro nearby. Loved it!
No elevator BUT good exercise :)
Close to metro station Cheap restaurants nearby Looks very French
Very good location, near metro station and very cheap good restaurantes.

the location was great, the breakfast was good, very helpful staff and car parking was safe and covered,
Where it was
When we came the first day our they gave us a room which we didnt book.
great location.. all the action around.. clean rooms with small but cozy bathroom with a tub! easy to move around with plenty of places to party!
Size of the room
good: location, fridge, staff is friendly, room is clean, price is reasonable
someone's golden hair on blanket
Friendly staff. Excellent rooms with facilites. Very comfortable be and shower. Friendly music bar attached.
Good Staff, they have a bar on ground floor, eating joints nearby, metro is around 200 meters from hotel. Good Location like on Main Road. View was good from my Room. Wash Rooms and Shower Rooms were Clean and Tidy
The room was a lil short of Space
The hotel was located in the 20th arondissement, near Pere Lachaise, in a multicultural area of Paris. it's quirky, with lotsof character, like narrow staircases, toile de Jouy wallpaper, djembes in the bar and life music on some evenings. People are very friendly. Its also well located regarding public transport by metro (15 min from Gare du nord - direct line).
Rooms are small, but spotlessly clean, Beds are low but surprisingly comfortable. On the whole its good value if you are looking for a cheap place and don't mind a adventurous area. The 20th arrondissement ha a slight reputation but as a tourist-couple we felt perfectly safe taking the normal big city precautions). Speaking
cheap for Paris, right next to Metro, safe, quirky place - the 'Bohemian' feel without the bed bugs
sockets in dangerous condition, a little inconvenient to have shared toilet down corridor, shower small and had to hold head up ourselves, one pillow had dirty mark, a few small holes in wall - but nothing that bad, don't be put off - the fact that they had 'computer problems' and couldn't give us a receipt 'until the day before you check out' seemed a little dodgy...
