Quiet rooms, helpful staff that was able to communicate in English, comfortable mattress.

Lack of kettle or coffee pot/ coffee and tea facilities. Lack of hand soap in bathroom.

I liked that the hotel was very clean, and provided towels and a sink in the room.

I did not like that the wifi was not included with the room. It was an extra fee, and was not worth the time to pay for it.

Nothing.

Everything. The wallpaper was peeling off, carpet was stapled to the floor, and the floors were completely uneven. The rooms were dark and dirty. Every morning we would get woken up by loud construction in other rooms of the hotel. Staff were not friendly at all and could not speak English. The location was in a bad neighborhood. The only good thing was that it was close to a metro, but the line was so far out of the way that it still took close to an hour to get anywhere of importance in Paris. I would never recommend this to anyone. It put a huge damper on our three day stay in Paris just knowing that we had to come back to a junky hotel and a dirty, uncomfortable room. There has got to be far better options than this, even on a budget.

It was good for just one night...

It was very noisy at the night. Small and cold room. I booked private parking but when I arrived they couldn't give me the key... Finally I found one other private parking place for much more expensive...

-Daily room cleaning -very nice and romantic room; after long walkings in cold Paris, the warm room was a blessing -really close to Menilmontant metro station (and also close to Pere Lachaise metro station) -live music

-The bathroom door was broken -thin walls

The location of this hotel is great, being only a short walk to the metro and the whole road is full of restaurants, shops and bars. There is also a market at the weekends right outside the front door. We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and the staff arranged secure parking across the road at a very reasonable rate (I can't remember how much, but I think it was about 15 Euro per day). The room was small, but well fitted out, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had an en suite which was also small, but functunal and clean. The room temperature was constantly at a comfortable level with no need for opening windows or wrapping up in a blanket. If you are looking for a posh hotel, then go to one and pay the price. Otherwise, this is a cheap "quaint" hotel with nice, English speaking staff. All in all, it is a very good stay for the money!

Amazing situation, close to Père Lachaise where you can catch the 96 bus to the magnificent big shops in centre of city. Ménilmontant métro station is very close to the hotel. Fabulous fresh fruit and bakery next door, Belleville market on the boulevard x2 a week. The owners of the hotel are brilliant & helpful. They are well informed about cultural facts and what goes on in the city and offer intelligent service at all times.

Let's think... each morning, we had to wait an average of 46 seconds for our fresh & warm croissants and baguettes to be brought from the bakery next door. The hotel staff go and buy them as needed. Seriously now, I have no negative comments to make.

Bathroom- it's clean and whole different level comparing with room.

Room- there was strange bad smell everytime they finished cleaning. And I don't know why I booked a twin room turned out they gave me double room and still wanted to charge if I ask to change rooms.

The staff was great. Others complained about the ability of the staff to speak English, and it was not perfect. It is France though, so what do you expect? They have live music several times a week in the bar. Many local hang out there, and they were all very nice too. I would stay here again, and recommend this place to someone looking for a decent, affordable hotel.

They keep the heat up so high we had to cover the radiator with a blanket, and open the window for an hour or so every night.

Rooms are small, 2 Shower and 1 toilet outside your room and that for hole floor.

staff were lovely, easy to find, price was fantastic, offered a room upgrade on arrival for an extra couple of euros.

room was clean but there was a clump of hair sat in the shower and in one of the beds. other than that and a little noise, everything was okay.

It seemed that they gave us a single room and not a double. Only 1 towel. No space to move, we only had 2 backpacks and 2 daypacks, we did not have a lot of luggage. We stayed in other budget hotels for far cheaper, that were more value for money.

Very low level accomodation, every extra costs a lot of money.

Friendly and helpful réception staff. Located in non tourist area. Metro station nearly on doorstep.

WiFi working (not working when we were there 3 weeks before) but only if we go down to reception, so is not very convenient if you need to do lots of research for you stay in Paris. Cleaning staff not very efficient when it comes to replenishing toilet rolls or supply of soap and shampoo. We were only left with 2 tiny pieces of soap and 2 sachets of shampoo on the 1st. Day and none after that even though we stayed for 5 nights. Shouldn't have to ask especially for toilet paper!!!!

The Hotel Staff was really friendly always available to help with a big smile ! The room was renovated and the toilets very clean! I am really satisfied and I would suggest this hotel to everybody. It is very close to 3 different metro stations. 10/10 because it was clean,comfortable and very economic.

I liked the proximity to the metro station Menilmontant, just 2 minutes walk and after that you are in the big metro net of Paris that can bring you really everywhere. The hotal was offering what we needed for our visit: a comfortable and clean room, proximiy o transport, shops in the area and nice surroundings to walk around. Being also close to the cemetery Pere-lachaise was a good stand as we were able to enjoy a very beautiful and peculiar "park". For our budget the hotel gave us all we needed in realy pricey city as Paris. I mostly enjoyed the free wifi (even if just in the hall), the small fridge in the room, the clean room and bathroom, the comfortable bed. I've got our room in time and the check out at 11:30 makes your living very comfortable.

The hotel gave us what expected for the price, the two stars and the area if not even more of others in the same category. We never were uneasy during our stay. Paris is a noisy city in the night and the hotel (like the others) can't be different the moment you open a window facing the street, so this was part of the deal!
