Hotel Les Charmes  

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Les Charmes in Meursault. The hotel is a short walk to the town's center and restaurant. The owners are a couple who really seem to enjoy what they do and are unbelievably helpful. We wanted to attend a wine festival in the next town, but were unsure where to get our glasses for entry. The husband graciously called over to one of the vintners to get the scoop! Our room was large by European standards, and the bathroom had recently been renovated. They happily accepted our golden retriever. Breakfast continental, lovely and fresh! We stayed in the main building that seemed a bit more traditional than the annex, that had a twist on tradition for it's decor. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and will probably go back on our next trip. Charming!

It was starting to look tired, but I think it'll only get better. They seem to be renovating when they can.

It was a comfortable, quiet hotel in teh small town.

The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and varied. The location is good for walking to restaurants in the village.

We chose the hotel based in part on the photos in Booking.com. Unfortunately, they did not apply to the room we had, which was not in the best condition, peeling paint, rusty bathroom fixtures, uncomfortable bed. The owner told us that the room was due for renovation this winter, which is certainly is. It should include soundproofing since the traffic noise was evident and people talking on the entrance level could be heard clearly on the first level.

A charming hotel indeed. Quiet location very close to the town centre. Hotel has a nice park and a (small) swimming pool. Very attentive owners.

Quiet hotel in area of oustanding beauty with secure parking. Rooms acceptable.

The night of our stay was hot and there was no airconditioning. Even with the window open, we could not cool the room enough. The hotel is expensive for what it is and we are unlikely to stay there again. we will look for an alternative. The next night we paid much less money for a room that was air-conditioned, had a kingsize bed and was very comfortable with spa facilities and first class dining.

Small and comfortable. Nice location in a lovely little town near a bigger tourist city, Beaune.

Accueil au top. Parking privatif. Situation de l'hotel.

Il manque un crochet à la salle de bains pour fixer la douche.

- l'accueil extraordinaire et l'amabilité des propriétaires; - la situation: en pleine ville, mais calme avec un parc et une piscine (malheureusement non utilisée vu la date du séjour); - le parking sécurisé la nuit (tous les bagages ont donc pu rester dans la voiture); - la situation géographique: à mi chemin de notre trajet; - le charme de la maison principale et de ses chambres, grandes, claires, meublées d'antiquités. - petit déjeuner (français) mais très copié et varié. Nous étions dans les chambres de l'annexe, très comfortables certes, avec une salle de bains parfaite (sans doute rénovée récemment), mais sans le charme des chambres de la maison principale. Lors d'une prochaine étape, je choisirai sans hésiter la maison principale.

Tout était parfait. Seule remarque: nous avons séjourné du vendredi saint au samedi saint, donc sans beaucoup de trafic dans le village. Le calme était donc là. Mais qu'en est-il un jour de semaine?
