Hotel Les Charmes  

The rooms have just been decorated and were lovely. The hotel is very close to the village square although all the restaurants were closed so we had to eat in the hotel room.

No restaurant

The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and varied. The location is good for walking to restaurants in the village.

We chose the hotel based in part on the photos in Booking.com. Unfortunately, they did not apply to the room we had, which was not in the best condition, peeling paint, rusty bathroom fixtures, uncomfortable bed. The owner told us that the room was due for renovation this winter, which is certainly is. It should include soundproofing since the traffic noise was evident and people talking on the entrance level could be heard clearly on the first level.

Our rooms were spacious and had antique furniture (we had comfort rooms which are to be refurbished during the winter months although we were more than happy with them as they were). The owners made us very welcome and had time to chat and offer useful information. The garden was lovely, with chairs and tables if we wanted to enjoy a drink, and sunloungers by the pool on which to relax. Free wifi was available throughout the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike - this is a lovely hotel.

The hotel felt very personal and very french.The view from the dining room was stunning and the food was good generally.

The bedroom was basic and a little tired with limited facilities. Breakfast offered a limited range.

Charming small village based in the heart of the Bergundy wine country. 3 traditional restaurants in the village. Booking is needed as they fill up quickly.Very handy for stop-offs near the autoroute.

The rooms on the front can be quite noisy. Even though it is a small village, the traffic can be disturbing although it does quieten down at night. .

Small and comfortable. Nice location in a lovely little town near a bigger tourist city, Beaune.

Nous avons tout aimé! Nous avons hautement apprécié l'accueil et la diligence des propriétaires de l'hôtel,ils nous ont même proposé de nous attendre après 22h si nous avions du retard! La belle chambre dans les dépendances était parfaite tout comme le cadre global de cette vieille demeure de vignerons avec son sublime petit parc romantique.Le petit déjeuner à la française était largement suffisant quant à la quantité et d'excellente qualité. La situation calme non loin du centre de Meursault n'était pas non plus pour nous déplaire et le fait qu'il y a moyen de garer des motos dans une grange sera une raison supplémentaire pour nous de revenir à l'Hôtel Les Charmes. En tout et pour tout, je peux vivement recommander ce petit hôtel charmant.

Bonne étape pour une nuit reposante. Accès aisé, parking sécurisé, accueil agréable.

A cette époque de l'année, aucun restaurant n'est ouvert à Meursault et on doit trouver une table pour dîner à Beaune au plus près. Petit déjeuner "à la française", toujours déconseillé par les nutritionnistes... Français.

Il manque un peu de place à la salle de bains pour poser une trousse de toilette.
