Friendly proprietress with practical solutions and explanations, together with full local knowledge.

Access to the town is controlled by a vertical bollard that demands a code. This was not provided on the booking confirmation thus it is essentail to telephone the hotel in advance to secure the current code! The proximity of the prison within the Citadelle is a constant reminder of the role the isle played in transporting prisoners to La Bagne. Tends to reduce the otherwise picturesque town of St Martin.

Value for money/small basic room but very clean/excellent position overlooking harbour and near to many shops and restaurants/staff could not have been more helpful - we suffered a mini crisis whilst there and they could not have done more to sort it out/ food in the restaurant was very good.

Friendly, welcoming hotel. Excellent breakfast served in a very bright & airy room.Good location for the nearby beach at Les Sable Des Olonne.There is a supermarket nearby as well as patisserie to die for ! The manager/owner reminded me of Sybil from that well known mythical hotel in Torquay !! Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

A bit basic.

Rooms were small and comfortable. Great location. Balcony window enables people to watch the hustle-bustle outdoors. Top floor rooms have balconies to sit out on - would have been better. Very helpful owner/manageress. Totally busy in August.

No air conditioning.

Very friendly and supportive staff , room was clean and serviced Food was good , staff was very helpful re vibe chile access to a restricted area , and with on site parking . Location was outstanding

The room was hot , a ceiling fan or a standard fan would have made a world of difference .

Budget Hotel in a prime location. This is our second visit. Rooms are small but have everything you need, breakfast good, position great. Friendly and clean no frills.

Our room had a lovely little balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view.

The staff very helpful. Excellent location and very clean. Price reasonable.

The main issue was mosquitos as there was no air conditioning the room was very warm and when the window was open the mosquitos entered the room. Subsequenty I received many bites!

Excellent Budget Hotel

The lady owner was charming and helpful. The hotel is very well positioned with easy access to all the shops etc but was quiet at night.I would certainly recommend booking parking in their spacious gated parking area as parking in St Martin, especially at weekends, is difficult. We had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant. By mistake, I left a pair of pearl earrings behind in our room. The hotel contacted me and will send them back to me - that is service.

booked a superior room from web site with a view of harbour - the room was very very basic and it had 3 windows 2 of which you had to keep the blinds down as one of the other rooms had views into our room - the web site shows patio/french doors our windows were high up and you had to stand at the window to get the view of harbour - if we had been advised this room was not as seen on web site we would not have booked

Chambre minuscule filet d eau douche glacee ou brulante pas de solution ni excuse de la direction donc je suis parti dans un autre hotel les 2 jours suivant heureusement je n avais reserve 1 seule nuit

J ai beaucoup apprécié l accueil la convivialité la communication et le soin que vous apporte le personnel. Le décor typique vous rappelle de bon souvenir. Une entreprise familiale qui transpire le bonheur. ....
