Nice residence, just 600 meters frome "la Croisette", equiped with kitchenette, fridge, flat tv, free wi-fi. Big room with double bed and 2 children beds (up and down) in separate space. Offers parking but you have to book in advance. In other case you can find around the hotel area for free, or in paying public parking. Check-in from 17:00 till 20:00, absence of reception from noon to 17:00 and from 20:00. The last night we found a letter attached to our front door, mentioning that we were supposed to take of the sheets from beds and place them with the towels in the bathtub. That's realy a joke, first time in my life I ever heard about this from a hotel. One of the other terms of the notice was that we had to check-out from 08:00 to 10:00 and we could leave the hotel, after a 5 minutes check of the room by the receptionist. As we had a boat to catch from Italy, we ignored it and left early in the morningIt's a shame becose otherwise our experience was nice. Please advise them to change this habit.

Nothing special, but it's ok if you can't afford to stay at the Croisette. Only 10 mins from Festival Palace. Keep in mind that you must climb a bit as this hotel is located on the steep street. No staff after 8 pm till morning. If you come late be prepared that you must call for instructions and you should rather be a self-reliant.

Room was ok but I think it is too expensive for the quality they provide The receptionist is not there most of time! ... very inconvinient. If you arrive in the evening you'll likely to see a closed door, with instructions on the wall to call somewhere and they give you code to access and find your keys: if your cell is on international roaming then you may have to spend a lot of money before you find your keys! ... they also refused to store luggage for a few hours after I checked out and the train station in Cannes does not have storage too! ... this is very very inconvinient if your train/plane is in the evening while you have to check out from hotel at 10am!...

Room decent size and actually slightly pleasantly surprised. Good security on the balcony (roller outside shutters). Little kitchen (kind of in a cupboard) would be ok for a single person or couple cooking something very simple. Good value for money. We got lost getting to the beach though so would recommend using 3g on a phone, or a map. It probably is 10 mins from the beach at the nearest point. Cannes itself is beautiful - note if you're going out in the evening the dress code on the seafront is pretty dressy, shirts for guys and dresses and high heels for girls. The opening hours aren't great - 8am to 10am and 5pm to 8pm, roughly so if you were arriving outside those times it could be complicated. However, it is an aparthotel rather than a hotel so if hotel-type services are important to you, you should stay at (and pay the extra for) a hotel. It is a 'budget' place so it's not amazing but it's fine for the money and perfectly comfortable. Also you're effectively sharing a balcony, so it's a bit odd when your neighbours are using theirs.

closeness to downtown and railroad station check in on Sundays or after hours needs to be improved. travelers need to be given door codes or a way to get in touch with staff after hours even if travelers have no working cell phone (e.g. coming from the US)

The only advantage is that it is located 10 minutes on foot from the centre. We arrived at 8.30 pm, nobody in the reception, hotel closed. We had to phone a number and got a code number to enter and the key from a locker inside. We had payed for the parking and the person on the phone couldn't tell us what to do to find it. We assumed that the control inside the locker was for the parking and found it ourselves. We couldn't sleep all night due to guests arriving and talking loud to one another. Nobody in the hotel we could complain to. We didn't want to start a fight with the other guests, so we just waited for the morning to come and ran away.
