Surrounded by restaurants and bars in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral.

In the Parisian Latin Quarter, Hotel Abbatial offers private rooms. It is less than half a mile from the Notre Dame Cathedral and is close to Ile Saint Louis.
Score from 1255 reviews Very good
Situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Familia Hotel is located just 600 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral and a 3-minute walk from Maubert - Mutualité Metro Station (line 10).

Sèvres-Montparnasse is in Paris’ 15th district, just 525 ft from Falguire Metro Station. It features a 24-hour front desk and guest rooms with a private bathroom with free Wi-Fi access and cable TV.
Score from 930 reviews Very good
Atmosphere - an old traditional French house not a corporation hotel, Super Location (we could admire the Notre Dame Cathedral through the window), very friendly and helpful Staff, a veggie restaurant few steps away. It was a marvellous time...
Location is perfect for walking and transport. Has atmosphere, not a cookie cutter. Staff speak English which helps.
A bit dark and crowded and cramped.
Staff were friendly and generally helpful Location was excellent A quirky hotel which would have received a better review if we had been able to get some sleep
On the first night the heating system overheated and the loud noise kept us awake. They fixed it after that. We had mosquitos keeping us awake on the other nights. The quality of the bathroom was poor - badly in need of renovation.
Location, Location, Location!!!!!
A man on a motorcycle was hit by a truck right in front of the hotel- he was probably killed! This was an awful experience, but just unfortunate!
The locality was excellent. Would go there again.
Perfect location. This hotel is in the thick of all things amazing about Paris. You practically face Notre Dam Cathedral which sits just by the river. Just a short walk from St michael train station.Cute little Parisian beautique hotel. Watch out for the stairs!!
Only thing is the stairs but it adds to the charactor of the building. No moans what so ever. loved our trip
Location was excellent, close to tourist sites, transport, cafes etc. Place had lots of character, very different, very old despite at first looking shabby. Wi-fi worked in room despite being advertised as only for the lobby. Man on desk was very helpful, personable, called us a taxi and it arrived as he said it would.
Shower needed to be cleaner. Shower worked really well though. Lots of stairs in a very tight stair well but attendant very helpful. Quite small room. Mattress looked very old.
The hotel is in a brilliant location in the heart of the Latin Quarter amongst many bars and restaurants and literally 2 minutes from Notre Dame.
The staff were not at all friendly. The bed was droopy and lopsided and the walls are paper thin. To the point you could hear next door using the bathroom…..and I don't mean the shower!
nice place near the old city center, metro station not far away, the old building and the rooms are decorated in the old style
no lift, no fridge in the room, the breakfasts are the same every day, a small selection. The bed is not big enough for two people
We had the top floor room which is amazing. You get a partial view of the Notre Dame. The Hotel is full of historic features and uniquely decorated. The Hotel proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. This together with the central location gave excellent value for money.
There is no lift and the stair case is narrow. There are low beams in the Attic room so it may not suit everyone but we loved it.
The location and area were excellent. Restaurants around the hotel were great value and food was of a high standard
The hotel room had noisy pipes and the shower screen leaked
+ Excellent location next to Notre-Dame, Panthéon, St. Michel, etc. + Very friendly staff. + Lovely old-fashioned / "bohemian" / parisian decor. The room itself was very nice and a bit extraordinary.
- No elevator, small stairs (an old building). - The bathroom was quite interesting: no lock in the door and it had big windows to the room (luckily with some curtains).
- Damien, the day person at the desk was incredibly helpful and speaks excellent English. (The night shift person was also very nice but speaks little English.) - Our room (and bathroom) was clean, large and airy. - We could see the towers of Notre Dame from a window of our fifth floor room, so one is just minutes from the Ile de la Cite (and RER to/from CDG), Ile St. Louis, and the St. Germaine de Pres area. - Wifi worked well!
We were given the fifth for attic room - lovely but the hotel has no elevator. Damien took our larger bags to our room and the night person brought them down when we left, but there were 82 steps up on a wood frame circular stairway and 82 down to/from our room. - Our attic room and bathroom were spacious, but the ceiling was of varying heights due to the roofline and window eaves. Since we're not Hobbits, we had to be very careful moving from one area to another if head-bumping was to be avoided. - Sometimes, including during the night, the use of water from elsewhere in the hotel, created a loud moaning in the pipes, which affected sleep to some effect.
Great location, classic french hostel
You better be in shape.. a lot of stairs and no elevator. The pipes made an awful vibrating sound all night long!
Hotel was very small, just 10 rooms in an old narrow building. Feels like it is old enough for the 3 musketeers to have lived there. Not two rooms alike. Rooms spacious (for Paris), dark but quiet. Location excellent in a small quiet street very close to the Seine and Notre Dame. Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay there again next time I visit Paris.
Nothing so modern as a lift. You carry your luggage up steep narrow stairs.
Good location, the stuff is helpful and pleasant, the vicinity is good, good atmosphere.
The room is small and does not have a chair . The shelf could be relocated in order to "form" a sustitue for a table
Location in Latin quarter opposite Notre Dame with very enjoyable walks to the Louvre, D'Orsey, Eiffel Tower along the river. In the heart of the Latin quarter with excellent cafés and restaurants. Very delightful staff .
Nothing I did not like. The hotel has recently sold the restaurant previously part of the hotel, so is now very small with small bar. Intimate therefore, principally rooms with a bar .
Location is close to Notre Dame Cathedral, Seine river, Metro and RER 2 train.
Size of room and bath and access stairs to the rooms.
Plumbing needs attention entrance was shabby and less than basic with breakfast tables in the reception/entrance I was on the 5th floor with no lift just a very narrow wooden spiral staircase
Noises no lift steep stairs
Loved this little French treasure.
Having to come home.
Bright, airy room with nice view of the river; comfortable bed; great breakfast.
Closet space very tiny.
Cost especially when most of the local metro stations were closed throughout August for renovations
We loved the room and the decorating. It was close to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. The building has a lot of history, and is decorated (mostly) in keeping with that history.
There was no elevator, and a lot of steep narrow stairs to get to our room. We were very glad that we didn't have large suitcases to carry.
