Lovely location, room was clean & cheap rate. Arrived on 1st September and it felt as though the Hotel was closing for the season. The pool & surronding area was not clean. Our room needed a complete refurb as it was old and dated & a little smelly. A large party of about 30 people were booked in at the time and we were told that we couldn't have food in restaurant that night and would have to travel out of town.. With a complaint to the manager we managaed to get food that evening, this happened to several other people in the hotel as well - the waiter and chef were not happy. Breakfast very expensive at 9 euros each so decided not to have it but nearly got charged for it anyway.

Although this hotel is not ultra-modern, the facilities were outstanding value for money. The hotel had a holiday village feel with a terrific pool area and spacious grounds of picnic areas, gardens and an outdoor bar/snack area. Restaurant was good. The location was fantastic... Right on the river with access to boat cruises, bike hire and lovely walks. The hotel is seemingly the only place in the village where you can buy food and meals. It can get expensive if you buy breakfast, etc every day. If you are on a budget it's a good idea to take some of your own food.

The location is beautiful in the Lot valley and so close to Saint Circ Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in this part of France. It's true that while we stayed we hit rain, but compared to previous visits it is looking a little run-down and some of the staff inexperienced.

The location of the otel is hard to beat; on the banks of the Lot River and in a pleasant village. Tourist attractions like St Cirque Lapopie and Cahors are within easy reach. The staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is excellent for a relatively small hotel. The "Menu de Jout" was invariably meat for the main course. The only other option was to eat "a La Carte". However, the quality of the food was excellent with one evening representing the best quality I had experienced for about three years.
