Since 1707, the Hostellerie de la Poste has been welcoming stagecoach travelers, as well as travelers of modern times, anonymous and famous guests...but always privileged guests.

A very nice location. Good free parking. Clean room and bathroom. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast.
Staff, room, food, service.
Restaurant, excellent dinner and good breakfast. A great garden with sun loungers. Lovely countywide and villages, quiet
Narrow steep stairs to bedrooms, not suitable for those with ambulatory difficulties, albeit there are wider stairs to the external fire escape that can be used. WiFi intermittent
comfy bed, immaculately clean, super food
Staff,food and cleanliness.
Nothing to say.
Friendly staff, good location for touring especially on motorcycles. Excellent food.
Friendliness of the owner as well as the wonderful food at hotel restaurant.
Rooms just about the right size for a short stay
Dinner was great and staff efficient and warm
Wonderful host at a comfortable and beautiful location coupled with a great restaueant where you can try a variety of locally produced cuisine served with attention and friendliness.
Everything! It was wonderful.
there was nothing to dislike
Perfect location, central to many beautiful ancient villages of historic value. Delicious meals. Beautiful relaxing garden. Very comfortable beds. Helpful friendly staff.
Very difficult to get Wifi
It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful. Divine breakfast!
Wi-Fi was a bit slow and sporadic at times.
Excellent restaurant very friendly and helpful staff.
This is an utterly charming hotel. We were warmly welcomed in spite of my rather shaky French parking techniques! The room was small, but well-equipped and comfortable. The braised pork dish I ate there that night will stay in my memory as one of the finest I have eaten - simply magical. Breakfast was sound, and we especially appreciated the early service of breakfast to enable us to meet another commitment. Thank you all.
We enjoyed it all.
Easy parking. Friendly helpful staff.
Restaurant is good, but the price is more than some would want to pay for a meal in the evening while just passing through. Breakfast good value as long as you want to fill up on toast and croissants.
We liked everything. From a beautiful well-groomed garden with a simple but lovely swing on a tree, light and nice room to a very warm and careful hostess. The most unexpected but very positive surprise was a high-quality food in the hotel's restaurant. Thank you!
Everything we needed for an overnight stop, large comfy bed, great shower room, spotlessly clean.Although on a road from our room at the back we geard nothing. The area is lovely very close to Avallon & Vezelay.
Water in room would have been nice.
The food was very good. Patron and staff very kind and helpful.
parking good location good cuisine
wifi signal insufficient
Lovely ambience. Good food. Welcoming .
Wifi kept dropping out and ran very slowly. A minor irritant.
Food and local wine very good.Welcome and service was great.Room was very quiet. When we inadvertently left something behind we were immediately telephoned and it was sent on in the most efficient way. Nothing was too much trouble, the owners were really friendly and helpful.
Friendly welcoming staff, our dog made very welcome, excellent and unusual food, nice location, garden, dog-walking easy from the hotel. We were last here 25 years ago and were very pleased to come back again! New management, but just as good as we remembered.
Bright, attractive room set in lovely gardens.Very good restaurant which also served ample breakfast. King bed.
Cramped toilet room One english language TV station (even BBC World!) would have been nice
Claire took great care to ensure our 90 year old dad was comfortable. She was very patient with me as I negotiated my way around booking.com. I had entered incorrect dates of our stay and she responded to each of my emails promptly to help me sort it out. Dinner at the hotel was like a michelin star restaurant. Amuse Bouche before starter course, then a citron granita amuse before dessert, really quite lovely for our first meal in France.
