The hotel was tired and in need of a refit, ok for one night but no more. A blast from the past 1970's style. |

Location was very close to the town centre, only fve minutes by walk, also close to the beach and Aquarium centre. Family room was not available so we had to split and stay in two rooms instead. The hotel's rooms were renovated, but outside it looked a bit run down. The hotel is also right next to the marine port and it's surroundings look a bit too industrial so may not appeal to all. Centre of the town is not the safest at night. |

The hotel is very close to docks and town. The bed was clean and comfortable with extra blanket and pillow available. Good breakfast, helpful staff. I arrived on a cold, wet night and there was no heat in the bedrooms (we had two) and we were very cold. At the end of October I would have thought heating was to be expected. The en-suite facility, though clean, was tiny. |

The hotel is well situated, clean, quiet and adequate for a short stay. It is value for money. It is an uninspiring building and lacked atmosphere. |

Staff were helpful and communicated well in English Room was small but comfortable enough for an over night stay or weekend, wouldn't want to stay for any longer than a weekend. |

Central location, good for shops, restaurants etc. Convenient for access to main routes. Near to petrol stations etc Bathroom door concertina type, very unusual in my experience and not very good. Access to shower very difficult for larger persons. |

Convenient location to city centre, easy to find, easy parking on site. The family room was 2 bedrooms with a bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Quiet rooms as they faced the rear of the hotel. Waterside location was interesting to see the port facilities. We would have liked access to a computer. |

Very convenient for hi-speed ferry to Dover, and also for walking into old town Tiny shower cubicle; also, although room was very clean, I was quite badly bitten on the torso during the night, with flecks of blood on the sheets! |

1) clean room which had been recently refurbished; 2) on site parking; 3) close to ferry port 1) Booked a table for dinner on arrival (waitress checked with receptionist) and then told 15 minutes later by the waitress that service had stopped 15 minutes earlier: told quite abruptly without apology as if it was our fault fr being late; 2) smallest shower entry that I have ever experienced; 3) stairs and corridors tatty and not as clean as the room; 4) poor value compared to Etap (c€20 per night cheaper) which we normally use but which was full due to my late booking |

Close proximity to port. Parking for our car. Room was too hot at night, no cooling facility. Noisy at night. But was fine for an overnight stay, not longer. |
