We toured La Rochelle and visited places that we had visited in previous years. We ate in the old part of the town but little assitance or advice was given on places to eat by the receptionist The reason for booking the hotel was that it was in the middle of La Rochell and had parking. No parking was available on the receptionist was not that bothered and suggested trying to find a space on th estreets nearby. The room we were allocated (201) was very small and could not be classed as a double/twin. With no double glazing it suffered badly from traffic noise and there was a lack of privacy as the curtains did not fit the windows. We would not recomend this hotel to anyone. |

Good location about 500m from centre which made an easy walk but no disruption at night. Very helpful staff particularly as Booking.com had not made the expected reservation for us and reception had to try to accomodate us at a very busy time of year. Room perfectly acceptable. Good breakfast. Parking available. |

Very close to La Rochelle centre, had a walk around the old town, the cathedral, had some seafood on the port. Then walked back to the hotel and went out drinking for the evening - the entertainment is fantastic. Try the Seafood! The rooms in the hotel were very clean but very small. Just enough room to walk around the bed. But, the location was fantastic. |

Central location and very near to the train station. Breakfast was yummy, had a good selection, was good value and was served between 6-10am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had a balcony. Supermarket across the road. Booked two twin rooms over the internet and ended up with two double rooms. No kettle in the room. |

So French, painfully good taste, lovely garden An assured reservation at the Chatte Botte restaurant would have been nice (run separately and well worth visiting!) |

The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. The situation was very convenient - close to the station and the old port It was a bit noisy during the night - bins being wheeled around etc. Our room was tiny. |

Situated just 3 minutes from the old harbour and the train station of La Rochelle, this hotel welcomes you in a modern setting. |
A 5-storey oasis only steps away from La Rochelle’s old port; the hotel offers magnificent views over the ocean and outlying islands. |
Set near the old port, in the lively Saint Nicolas district surrounded by antique dealers, this hotel has free Wi-Fi and charming, well-equipped and modern rooms, with renovated bathrooms. |
Ideally set right amidst the historic part of La Rochelle, the hotel De La Monnaie, an ancient dwelling from the XVIIth century, will spoil you with a peaceful setting. |
