staff Location Breakfast Pool room
Location is great, room very clean.
Very Limited public areas, no lounge to relax only a bar so not a cosy hotel at all, purely functional. My main issue was the pitch black corridors. My room was at least 10 meters from a switch, so when you left the room you were plunged into darkness trying to lock your door, you would literally be feeling your way along the wall to find a switch, then double back to lock your door. It was the same on my return, no lights on anywhere. With no windows it really was pitch black and quite dangerous, especially if you had children, very odd.
nice hotel, very nice helpful staff.Rooms lovely.great location in the centre of Samoens
Location close to ski bus stop, friendly staff, decent ski room
Strange smell in room 336, prices at the bar, elevator closed after 21.00
Location, very clean.
Pool cold, no hot tub, breakfast poor and expensive.
- Central location
-Rooms are a bit outdated -Noisy -Staff offers basic assistance but doesn't go beyond what is absolutely necessary -Breakfast not great value for money
Friendly staff Comfortable beds Very clean
Breakfast overpriced Bar closed at 9pm
Attractive rooms with good sized bathrooms. Small, warm indoor pool. Good breakfast. Storage for skiing equipment. Easy to find, close to everything.
No coffee and tea making facilities in rooms. No meals available except breakfast. Short breakfast hours, only 7.30 to 9.30. Reception unmanned after 9 pm.
This is a B&B not a hotel despite the massive sign that says Hotel-Restaurant. They do NOT serve meals and the bar and reception are closed by 9pm. Breakfast was a rip off at 15 euros per person for self service continental breakfast on trays, on the slopes you can get a fully cooked breakfast for 12 euros! This hotel has a great location and probably the largest dinning room in Samoens, such a pity that it is not managed in an efficiently. My view is that the current owners should sell it to give way to people who want to run a hotel-Restaurant and bring the place to life. As it is it feels oddly dead.
Rooms are ok and clean. Great Location for the Grand Massif Express lift. We had a late flight and the hotel looked after our cases, while we went skiing for the day and they let us use the showers on our return late in the afternoon. Couldn't fault them.
Family that ran hotel very hospitable - Breakfast although £12 was good quality and eat as much as you wanted - very nice hotel
No evening meal - could do limited evening bar meals like two pizzas, lasagna, chilli and couple other simple dishes - needed as restaurants very busy - fair to say it was half term
tinned fruit salad (fresh would have been more in keeping with the hotel)
A nice hotel in a good location. Surprisingly quiet when we visited.
We struggled to find the hotel at first.
Very helpful staff Wide range of facilities, such as pool, sauna, Jacussi etc
No restaurant in the hotel itself
Nice people, good location in the village of Samoens, easy to go to the pistes with bus connection.
The bed was really bad and small for 2 people. Price for such a small room with uncomfortable bed was rather high, but I guess it's more the location you pay for.
Good comfortable hotel ideal location, didn't have the breakfast as I thought 15 euros is a bit much per person so we ate breakfast out as there are lots little patisseries too eat in. Amazing place to spend Christmas we had fun and would highly recommend Samoens to anyone .
Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool. Location
The parking was quite limited and not particularly secure
Good location, clean and comfortable reasonable price for the area. Did not take dinner or breakfast there.
Staff not friendly, impersonal
