Score from 457 reviews Very good
The restaurant operates at a very high standard. Expect to find some surprising items on the menu. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The air-conditioning is a blessing in summer
The wine list is overpriced.
Outside the town (5 minutes). If you want to check out the Champagne villages - it is perfect.
Brilliant restaurant, excellent Maître d.
Breakfast range and service was a bit thin.
Nothing in particular
Breakfast was good
The staff; the food
Great location, nice breakfast.
Bathroom could do with updating
close to Epernay quiet gastronomic restaurant good value for money
Wifi didn't work
Well positioned with fantastic frontal views across the grape plantations to Hautvilliers and beyond. Excellent gourmand restaurant with terrace for apperatifs. Annabelle, friendly English speaking proprietor looked after us well. Comfortable, clean but basic room.
Totally unattended after mid day Sunday with no meal service in evening. Access by door code.
We could see a wineyard form our room. The room was very clean. There is Small but very nice garden. We could enjoy a dinner with my wife and 2 childrens (2&5Y). All staffs were very kindly.I recomend this hotel for family.
There is costrama at the opposit side of wineyard. But We didn't see from our room.
Location is just outside Epernay, not really walk-able due to the main road. But only a 2min drive. It's a great location for exploring or cycling (lovely roads!) around the area. Room was very comfortable and staff very helpful, at a good price compared to local alternatives
No outdoor pool, but there's a small bar terrace
It's on an industrial estate by a busy bypass roundabout. It is miles out of town and there is no bar or restaurent open on Sunday lunch or evening so you have to drive into town to eat and can't drink. The wifi doesn't work in the bedrooms. The staff we're rude when we objected to sitting at the only table laid for breakfast in the dining room which was by the noisy kitchen and moved to a table which was laid for dinner.
Not much at all.
The welcome was poor, staff sulky and not happy or smiling at all. We were not asked if we had a good journey, nobody said 'welcome', they were just employees and it showed. No sign of the Patron or good hospitality. Half the rooms overlook a builders merchant, the website picture and description is not accurate. You are not surrounded by the vineyards to the rear. The restaurant was expensive and the food was ok, but not exceptional as you would expect at 35 Euros for a main course. We did get a room change to one at the front but were told it was 'an exception' in a very grudging way. We are experienced travellers and would not recommend this hotel, the 'hospitality factor' was missing, yet the 'self-hype' of the web site was misleading.Sorry, but that's the truth.
Helpful staff..although speaking French is adviseable.
Wi Fi wouldn't log in. Brocchure picture flatters the hotel surroundings
Great loction for us near to Ay and a short drive from Champagne houses. Lovely dinner on the first night. Room with disabled facilites for my mother.
Staff were a little casual at breakfast and check out.
Staff were wonderful, friendly, good English and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was also fantastic. Lovely gardens.
Too modern for my taste, in a busy, unattractive location - almost, but not quite counter-balanced by gardens. Appeared to be next door to a hardware outlet.
Convenient for the locality - visiting to buy champagne for son's wedding. The restaurant was excellent.
Nice feel about the place and we had a lovely meal in the Restaurant. Staff were very friendly, but sparse in numbers particularly in the morning. Great location for exploring the numerous Champagne producers!!
Good reception on arrival, knowledgeable manager, who understands subject of food and champagne well. Helpful suggestions about lesser known marques. Excellent dinner. A gourmet experience.Worth a returnvisit if we are ever inthe area again.
heavy duvet on the bed in summer.Too hot. And if there was air conditoning - not very apparent. Slowish check out int he morning.
Perfect Location to visit Champagne area!
Lovely location, great food, friendly and helpful staff.
Wi-Fi reception was spasmodic but solved by moving to public spaces.
Superb restaurant and friendly staff
Wi-Fi didn't work in our room - it only had a very week signal in the lobby
This may be a 3 star hotel but this Hotel has a 5 star level of service. To be honest I just booked this hotel as there was free Parking but I was amazed at the level of service and fine dining in this hotel. The restaurant is wonderful with great options of fine French food and a very impressive and extensive wine list. In this small hotel all the staff work together to give a very professional level of service. Care and consideration is put into evey aspect of this hotel.
The location and the beds were super comfortable, we even slept in because it was so lovely. Modern and updated rooms, with bath tubs!
The service at the restaurant was terrible and over priced, we waited at our table with no water or anything to drink for over 30 minutes before some acknowledged us, it was much more fun to eat in town!
