A convenient location about 20 kilometres from Paris, attentive staff, professional services, and comfortable accommodation make Le Celtic a pleasant backdrop near the French capital.
Score from 186 reviews Very good
Peaceful place, staff was excellent.
Everything on restaurant menu is very good but very expensive. Some cheaper options would be good.
Everything about the facility and the food.
The €25 taxi ride to the airport. I was not informed ahead of time that it would be that expensive.
We had an early flight out of CDG at the end of our trip to France and picked this hotel for it's location. It was just a 10 minute drive to the terminal. No stress in getting there on time! The hotel was very clean and it didn't feel like we were so close to a major airport.
The hallways are tiled so the lobby and the small wing that we were on were noisy when people went in and out. Doors closing and people walking through to the restrooms or stairway echoed. Also the main entrance and parking lot were tucked away so we didn't find the registration desk easily.
I was arriving very late and had to find the B&B at night, the gentleman at the reception guided me in nicely.
There is very little negative to say about this B&B to which I would certainly come back if I needed accommodation in this area. The only remarks are : 1. in the room there is no individual desk where one can work on pc. However, there is a large and cosy space available for this, but the desks are not really functional to do pc work 2. the bed for me personally is too short, this was not a problem however as I had a double bed and travelled single.
We had been to the original converted barn twice before and were amazed by the very high standard of the new hotel style conversion. The proximity to CDG airport makes this an ideal stop but you still feel you are in the beautiful French countryside. We enjoyed a quiet evening meal in the restaurant making it a perfect end to a wonderful French holiday. Highly recommended.
Fabulous restored old building; staff are wonderful.
Not on the regular taxi route, so make sure you ask the staff to organize a ride (to/from the airport), which they will gladly do for you.
Newly opened extension and very clean. Easy access to the conference center and the airport.
1)The garage door was closed during the day and at night, which caused unnecessary phone calls on an international number to have access to the hotel, although I have advised them of the time I was coming back to the hotel after business meetings. 2) The advert did not mention the new wing of the hotel and I was expecting to be housed in the "chambre d'hotes" which was what attracted me to the place.
Nice decor, breakfast included, quiet
More than 3k from the airport terminal and site said a shuttle was available when really it was a taxi 20 euro each way...
Interesting ancient property renovated in a hip yet charming way. Lovely staff and managenr.
Location is very tricky and absolutely no place to eat especially if you arrive on Sunday . If you ard arriving late and have a car it will work for you. . No RER or public transport or walking distance amenities.
Rooms were small but ok
Tv did not work (also in other rooms) Faucet in sink was semi detached Little flexibility in changing taxi pick up times
I stayed here before but not in the new hotel. It's a great addition since staff is so amazingly attentive and ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I think they exceed excellence and they seem ready to receive any criticism.in order to improve.
Friendly staff, near airport, wine bar, comfortable, newly renovated rooms.
The location away from the airport in a lovely old village. Character property, quiet and relaxing. Helpful staff and nice breakfast.
The offer of taxi transfer which I ordered to pick us up at 9pm and was not there. Had to get local taxi who was a very rude, angry and aggressive driver. A stressful start to our stay. The taxi the hotel ordered for our return was ok though.
Payment option. The owner wants your card details inclusive CVC code, having no machine
The Village of Mauregard is only minutes from CDG airport but a world away. The village is at least 350 years old, and Les Herbes Folles is run by a farmer and his wife, who at the time of our visit was also the village major. Great couple, beautiful village. Highly recommended.
This is a excellent alternative to the big name hotels in and around CDG. We only needed a place to stay far an early morning flight but were pleasantly surprised to find this newly renovated hotel 10 minutes from the airport. The atmosphere was like a B&B and the hostess charming. I would stay here again.
Nearby restaurant options are limited, cab, car or a 2km walk in the countryside are necessary.
The location is the best -close to the airport, yet quiet and secure. The owner is wonderfully gracious and hospitable.
The broken faucet, the big orange stain on the"clean" towel, the staff yelling on her cell phone, the same staff pressing linen outside our door with a device that issued a loud alarm about once a minute for much of the evening as we were attempting to unwind after a long day's journey.
Close to CDG airport, yet very little aircraft noise
Owner very helpful in taking us to a local restaurant. Arranged for a driver to take us to the airport about 15 minutes away for 15 Euro.
Very close to CDG yet it felt a world away. Such a peaceful setting. The rooms are in a beautifully renovated barn on an old farm site. There were many little towns nearby with great food options and the owner was extremely friendly, spoke perfect English and prepared us a lovely breakfast. It was a shame we were only there for 1 night in transit!
Great location from the airport. Very quite and peaceful.
Must make sure that the taxi cab driver knows were he is going
Well, from the beginning to the end that was one of the best hotels I've ever been to....Jarome the owner was fantastic host and very helpful. Definitely will be back and recommend this place to all friends.
I would like to write something in this section but.....everything was perfect!!!!
The rooms are very nice. It is comfortable to have a living room in order to meet up in the evening.
It was cold in the room. No restaurants in the town
Our host Jerome was charming and so helpful in every way. We would definitely go there again and highly recommend his establishment to any traveller who does not want to stay in a modern characterless hotel to stay here. You will not regret it !
