Les Herbes Folles

Great airport hotel, in the countryside and yet 10 minutes from CDG airport. On a working farm. Check in and out very easy. Owner is super helpful arrived late and he found a restaurant that was still open and asked them to wait for us. Very atmospheric with beamed sealings, free drinks including wine and beer, port etc. Nice breakfast with fresh OJ. Highly recommend over the usual plastic airport hotels.

A little hard to find.

It is a beautiful setting in a small village - quiet, though only 6 km from Charles de Gaulle airport.

I wish we had known that there would be no restaurant open nearby ... it was a Sunday afternoon and we just didn't allow for the differences between a small village and Paris habits.

Its a lovely place, great hospitality, wonderful host , and tasty breakfast.

The host was extremely kind and provided us with a lot of information and a map of the city. He also gave us a glass of wine on arrival, and there was bottled water in the room. The breakfast was very nice, much more than expected. The room was charming and extremely clean. It was very quiet; I never heard a sound at night, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again, and hope I have a chance to.

The transportation was a little inconvenient, as it required a taxi from the airport. The host had an agreement with a local taxi driver for a slightly reduced fare, and it would have been all right for one night, but it was a little expensive to stay multiple nights. That was absolutely the only problem, and it was a minor one.

Unlike other airport hotels, this charming place is restful, quiet and the owner is very attentive. And it's10 minutes from the Charles de Gaulle in taxi!!

Beautifully clean, and the house has been renovated incorporating modern features within the old stone footprint of the property. Good welcome, comfortable bed, filling breakfast too. And convenient for Charles de Gaulle airport (especially when you get a driver who knows where he's going and can read his sat-nav!). Would certainly stay there again if travelling from CDG.

We loved this beautiful, country setting of this bed and breakfast. They have spend a ton of money refurbishing this old country farm house. It is about 8 minutes from CDG airport, so was very convenient, yet it seemed like it was a world away because it was set in this gorgeous, rural village. I read some reviews who mentioned the airplane noise. Frankly, I am a light sleeper, and I didn't hear any airplane noise. The rooms are ample sized, and are designed beautifully and clean. We were greeted by a warm and helpful proprietor. We would highly recommend Ls Herbes Folles.

I was told the gate to this place automatically closes at 9:30. If you are going to be out later than that, ask the proprietor for a code. This isn't a complaint, just a heads-up so you don't get stranded.

The location was excellent for flying out of CDG airport. The decor and manner in which the owners had transformed some old farm outbuildings into a beautiful suite was amazing. The wood burning fireplace was a bonus. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

When driving up to the hotel we did not have high expectations so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got there and saw the hotel. It is in a small town on the border of cdg airport. The host was absolutely fantastic and had drinks and a log fire ready for us on arrival. We were the only guests the night we stayed. The old barn has been renovated to perfection and had a very appealing charm to it. The host runs the farm. We had no idea there were working farms so close to CDG. When taking our bags from and to the car we could hear the aircraft but once inside we did not hear any aircraft noise at all. The walls are very thick and all the windows are double glazed. Breakfast was typical European and enjoyable. The host organised the breakfast time to suit our flight schedule. Our GPS knew the address so we had no problem finding it even though it was dark by the time we arrived. Check-in was from 6pm to 10pm but this was not a problem for us. We had to drop our TT car off in the morning and it was an easy 5-10 minute drive to the TT base at CDG.

Had a wonderful stay with a really nice host called Jerome. had a lovely meal within minutes away where Jerome both dropped us off and picked us up. Quaint place only ten min. From CDG would stay here again. Thank you all!

This place is just incredible. So different than your average hotels. The house itself and interior design is absolutely amazing. Clise to the airport. A bit hard for the cab drivers to find it since they are not familiar with the location. But make sure their gps works. Great breakfast and great host!

Beautifully redone farm buildings, lots of history and charm. Clean and quiet and relaxing.

Les Herbes Folles has great proximity to Charles de Gaulle airport yet the feeling of a country village B&B. It was refreshing to be able to stay in a quality, tastefully done lodging/B&B establishment so close to the airport. The owner personally greeted us upon arrival and was very accommodating. The lodging is a blend of old and modern design. I would highly recommend Les Herbes Folles, particularly if looking for something unique and different than the larger chain hotels in the area.

Nice clean rooms. Relaxing common space. The owner did his best to facilitate our stay.

No shuttle to airport.

It was quaint, quiet, and in the country yet close to the airport (CDG).

Beautiful building, lovely courtyard, lovely gardens. Staff were lovely. Did not have any food with us and they made us sandwiches and didn't charge us. Very close to the airport, 10 minutes by taxi.

Taxi driver couldn't find it, better to have directions printed out. Taxi cost €30 each way.

country side venue close to airport

Very quaint place located close to cdg. Jerome was a warm host and we enjoyed our last night in Paris in quiet resolve. Good transition.

Nicely renovated in old farm style. Very nice and caring owner that gave me a nice service during my stay.

Gracious host, beautiful setting, very comfortable, absolutely next to Chas. de Gaulle airport, very relaxing.

Close to the Roissy airport CGG. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, just to ease on a 9 h00 jet lag and time to PU my motorcycle who was traveling with me. I felt very secure for myself and for my motorcycle , more than in very busy city or dense neightbourout

we still ear sometimes plane taking off during the night but I acceoted ! It is normal as you are close to the airpor.t

Les Herbes Folles is an original country farm which has been remodeled in part to host travelers. I loved this place! It was exquisitly remodeled with a modern but rustic style. All was super clean, calm atmosphere, and lovely gardens. The owner welcomed us and showed us around. Offered us the first drink on the house and prepared a typical French breakfast the day we departed, even though, it was early in the morning.

This place is close to the airport, so planes noice could be an issue.

Jerome, the host, is an English speaker. He was most friendly and went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating with all our needs. As we did not have our own transport he drove us on two nights to different places for an evening meal and collected us when we had completed our meal. He also arranged a neighbour to taxi us to the train station on two occasions. We would thoroughly recommend this small hotel. It is an easy train ride into Paris Notre Dame.

There was only a problem of location as we did not have our own transport and nowhere in the small village to have coffee or a snack. With one's own transport it is ideal for anyone arriving or departing from Charles de Gaulle airport.

Excellent host who was very accommodating and friendly. We loved staying here it was quiet and very close to CDG airport. Great breakfast!
