This is a excellent alternative to the big name hotels in and around CDG. We only needed a place to stay far an early morning flight but were pleasantly surprised to find this newly renovated hotel 10 minutes from the airport. The atmosphere was like a B&B and the hostess charming. I would stay here again.

Nearby restaurant options are limited, cab, car or a 2km walk in the countryside are necessary.

The location is the best -close to the airport, yet quiet and secure. The owner is wonderfully gracious and hospitable.

The broken faucet, the big orange stain on the"clean" towel, the staff yelling on her cell phone, the same staff pressing linen outside our door with a device that issued a loud alarm about once a minute for much of the evening as we were attempting to unwind after a long day's journey.

Owner very helpful in taking us to a local restaurant. Arranged for a driver to take us to the airport about 15 minutes away for 15 Euro.

Very close to CDG yet it felt a world away. Such a peaceful setting. The rooms are in a beautifully renovated barn on an old farm site. There were many little towns nearby with great food options and the owner was extremely friendly, spoke perfect English and prepared us a lovely breakfast. It was a shame we were only there for 1 night in transit!

The rooms are very nice. It is comfortable to have a living room in order to meet up in the evening.

It was cold in the room. No restaurants in the town

Our host Jerome was charming and so helpful in every way. We would definitely go there again and highly recommend his establishment to any traveller who does not want to stay in a modern characterless hotel to stay here. You will not regret it !

By far the best place to stay if you need to be near the CDG Airport. Great personal welcome, great rooms. One doesn't want to pay more to get less in the region! Great little traditional restaurant at just 2 minutes drive. Straight from any 'countryhouses' magazine.

There is nothing you will not like.

Goregous place to end our visit in France. Beautiful accomodation, spacious and extra special. Handy to airport and is great base for stopover before flying out. Thankyou so much to Jerome for his care. Be sure to see if you can get to the local restaurant for a meal.

Ensure that you have clear directions and map for the airport cab operator for your trip from airport to Les Herbes, (they aren't that keen on the short trip to Mauregard !).

This was our second stay at Les Herbes Folles. Really, everything was perfect and Jerome is a great host. We woke up to a freak power outage and enjoyed breakfast by candle light! With any luck, we'll visit Paris again and will definitely return to this lovely B & B. If flying out of CDG, this can't be beat for convenience and charm.

    Everything was great.

Very sophisticated accommodations in a wonderful French countryside location. Very close to the airport (by car). Owner (Jerome) is really nice and will go out of his way to meet your needs. Incredible value in comparison to similar Paris or even airport hotels. Great breakfast!

Everything was great. You should have a car in order to get around since the village is 15 min. by car from the CDG Airport.

Charming French countryside bed & breakfast, on a large farmhouse complex. Traditional from the outside, new and modern on the inside. Highly sophisticated and very attentive owner (Jerome). Great traditional breakfast and very nice facilities. Very chic and great value for the $.

You will need a rental car with gps - the roads in France, especially in this area (cdg) are extremely confusing.

The stay at Les Herbes Folles did not disappoint. The room was good, and the bathtub a nice surprise. The living room and breakfast room were lovely. Best of all, though, was Jerome, the owner, who is gracious and kind. He drove us to and from the nearby restaurant, 1.5 kms away, because there are no restaurants in Mauregard. It is perfect for an overnight near CDG. Jerome and his daughters are building a 30 room hotel next door. I'm sure it will as lovely as the chambre d'hotes! One tip - print the directions to the place to give to the taxi driver. We spent 45 minutes driving around in circles, when it should have taken 15!

A good room, a very nice common room and a reasonable French breakfast. It is quite close to the airport but still there is little airport noise.

It cost 20 euros each way for a taxi to and from the airport so it could have been cheaper staying at an airport hotel with a free shuttle. Also the taxi drivers were reluctant to accept the fare from the airport to the B&B because they had been waiting for a much larger fare to Paris.

The building is a beautifully remodeled building located in the courtyard of a 300+ year old French farm. The owner, Jerome, took the time to explain the history of the farm and the buildings and the local area - totally fascinating! Then he drove us and another couple to a lovely restaurant and picked us up after dinner; he should be an Ambassador. The hotel is only 6 km from CDG but it is very quiet. Next time we go to Paris we would stay there for a week.

Great proximity to CDG airport, yet a feeling of being in a remote part of France. The owner was very interested in the guests.

Small stuff, part of being new and of being run by a professional - no small bar of hand soap, no place in shower to rest soap of any kind, too dim lighting at breakfast which needs to be an up-time and not a relaxing time.

Perfect location near the airport, we didn't have to fight any traffic. This is an excellent value. Jerome was a great host, he provided a delicious breakfast. It was more of a home atmosphere than a hotel, the living room was inviting and relaxing, even offering a free drink and bar area.

The best home made Crossiants and bread in France!!! Made by the host - amazing! He helped us with maps and easy way to cdg - great for a night near the airport before leaving the next day.

Beautifully restored building in peaceful surroundings. Quality interior decoration and personal service, unlike all the other airport hotels.

Difficult without a car to get to restaurants, but Jerome was helpful in picking us up from Raddison where we had eaten. I would not recommend Raddison for a meal, but nothing much was open on a Sunday night.

I cannot say enough positive things about my family's stay at this B&B located a short distance for the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The views of the French countryside were beautiful, as was the lovely backyard surrounded by flower gardens. Jerome greeted us warmly upon arrival and encouraged us to explore the property and to enjoy our picnic meal at one of several tables that were arranged around the yard. It felt more like we were staying at a country estate instead of a bed and breakfast. The guest house was amazing; large, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. All in all we had fabulous stay and would love to return one day.
