The hotel is very nice and comfortable if you have a car. CAR absolutely necessary. The town is very nice and quiet if you want a relazing holiday. Excellent point to visit Les Calanques.

The location is not very good unless you have got a car, being not well connected either from the railway station and from the town centre. From the station to the hotel it would be not far walking but it is a nightmare if you have got luggage as there is no pavement so you basically have to walk in the street. From the hotel to the town centre is fine walking down but it is a nightmare to go back as it is pretty steep. I was there end of March and there was NO public transports at all. No bus. No hotel shuttles. Just taxi and very difficult to book especially at night. You won't find one in the evening/night not even at the railway station.

What's not to like!

The swimming pool area was lovely with comfortable loungers and the whole place had a nice feel. The breakfast terrace was good except we were bothered by bees in September.

Our room was very disappointing had large bed as booked but room was very small and in an outbuilding, the only air and light was through the doors so when open there was no privacy. It opened onto a boggy area so could only walk on the path.. Although booked through Booking we paid the full room rate, it was not worth the price. There was no 'bar' only a fridge you could help yourself to expensive beer, wine etc. and advise reception.

The terrace in front of our room was filthy as well as the chairs. The bathroom lacked a small table to place our affairs. We were told our room had wi fi and it did not

Lovely swimming pool, with plenty if comfy sun beds. No problems parking.

The walk back from the port at night is fairly strenuous for all but the very fit. An hourly minibus would have been brilliant. Rooms very basic with no wall socket for the shower head and a bath plug that would not close. A few pictures on the wall would have made the room feel a bit more homely. Evening bar had no comfort or atmosphere. Poolside shower did not work and there seemed no interest in fixing it. Breakfast ok but boiled egg machine would not boil so expect a 20 minute wait for your morning egg!

Pool and garden area very good.

A bit of a walk (uphill) out of town centre.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and were set nicely in the gardens with individual patios. The pool was a good size but the hot tub wasn't working.

It is about a 20 minute walk uphill from the centre of town/seafront. Being pregnant it was quite a struggle in the evening; I wouldn't like to have been doing it in the heat of the day!

The pool and gardens are lovely.

The toilet leaked on the floor and was not repaired. Half the light bulbs were burned out. The room door would not stay locked. The safe was ill-maintained and locked our items inside (we lost a whole day). The 115 volt shaver outlet malfunctioned and blew out my shaver. A quite disappointing experience.

Beautiful surroundings in beautiful Mediterranean town at a beautiful location. Staff was very friendly and helpful and very fluent in English. Price is very reasonable, and considering your expectations is quite a good deal.

Rooms are a little older which is actually very quaint and romantic, but being a little older are not quite as polished as a newly renovated hotel. This didn't bother us, but it is something to mention. On the other hand, the restroom was very spacious -- the largest of our staff in France (among four different hotels). Also, the walk to the restaurants and harbor, while beautiful, is a bit of a hike. About 15-20 minutes down to the harbor and a about 20-30 minutes back up. It's a beautiful view, the town feels very safe, and after a great dinner down at the harbor, the walk up was probably a good thing. Still, be prepared for a short hike back and forth to the great touristy spots down at the harbor.

Even though the beach is so close, we did use the pool a couple times and we loved to lay out on the plush poolside chairs. The room was totally acceptable. The ac was broken and it dripped water so they changed our room no problem. We walked from Cassis station to the hotel using an iphone to map. It took maybe 25 minutes walking with our bags in the heat. Arrived too early to check in but we left the bags at the hotel and walked down to the shore (about 30 minutes from the hotel), we then went out to the calanques and swam in the ocean.. I really recommend this hotel.

It would've been cool to have had a mini fridge. We like to pack our own food to save money.

Nothing the place is a shambles and should be taken off your listing its dirty, staff rude, ocer priced , nothing like the web site shows

Every thing its a disgrace our bags and room got soaked with the lawn sprinkler with no recompense or apologies

We stayed at this hotel in July 2012 during peak summer season. The location is up the hill from the beach/port area. Being away from the busy hub meant the hotel was quiet, but the uphill walk was challenging in the heat. The double room was very small but clean and the bed comfy. The hotel has a nice garden and pool area which makes it a cool oasis from the heat. The air conditioning in the room worked well. I would not recommend the double room if you wanted to stay for more than 2-3 days. The staff were very helpful and the reception area had free wi fi and snacks and drinks you can purchase.

The 15 min uphill walk from the port/beach would not suit someone who is physically challenged. We are a couple in our 50s and managed it fine but the afternoon heat was a bit much on the uphill climb.

Les Jardins de Cassis was a good choice! The staff was very friendly and helpful (thanks, you were GREAT!) , The garden and the buildings are beautyful, in particular in the evening when the area around the pool is beaytyfully lit. The pool is large, cleaned regularly and we ended up using it more than we expected. The pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and one can buy chilled bewerages in the bar by the reception. The rooms was clean and spacey and we were happy with it. Don't worry about the distance from the harbour where the restaurant are. The walk is actually short and takes only 10min and it was perfect after all the rather heavy dinners we ended up having most of the nights (the food is exellent, especially at Nino's).

The matresses were a bit hard but then again this is unfortunately the case in most hotels, such as the other Cassis hotel we were in last year.

For the first time since embarking on our trip to southern France, I felt I could relax about my stuff being there when I returned. Absolutely delightful staff, location and parking. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and our rate was a great value.

Grünzone/Garten ums Haus / Frühstücksraum, Pool scheint auch i.O. bzw. nett, Bett und Bad i.O./ Terassensitzplatz vor dem Zimmereingang ist im Sommer sicher angenehm

Nur 1 Stuhl im Zimmer/ Zimmerzugang direkt vom Freien ist bei Regenwetter unangenehm nass/ Holzmöbel auf dem Sitzplatz im Freien wirken ein bisschen ungepflegt

Particulièrement l'acceuil des hotesses et le calme des lieux

un petit déjeuner un peu light en terme de choix pour un 3 étoiles

La taille des chambres et des lits, ainsi que leur confort (bon matelas)
