Location was ok. We arrived late so 24 hour check in was helpful. The reception staff were not the nicest. One guy in particular was driving us out of the place. The cleaner came into room at 8am after knocking once without us giving permission. No electrical sockets. |

Location When we arrived there was no sign of our reservation - they gave us a room under construction - after a lot of discussion we got another room but this was NOT 4 stars worthly - rooms are small - NO value for money |

I liked its location in a central, buzzy location yet still only a 10/15 minute cab ride to the Gard du Nord, which ties in with whole Eurostar/2.5 hours to Paris thing. Clean, efficient, professional if a bit "corporate." |

The location and set-up were superb. As we had 2 twin rooms they gave us adjoining which was ideal. The facilities were simple but good and the room there was a pleasant atmosphere. The housekeeping staff deliberately woke us up both mornings at 8am, despite the do not disturb signs being up and were bothering us to get out hours before official check-out time. |

Good location : pleasant neighbourhood, close to the Marais and La Bastille. The room was not small at all (Parisian standards ! ). Les Jardins du Marais wants to be a "design"hotel, but to my opinion it is not the case: the entrance is OK, but the rooms are not "desig" at all and have a bad acoustic insulation (we stayed in the "Eiffel"wing). So: a little bit disappointed! |

The design of the hotel and the fact that it is around a courtyard Disappointed could not have a continental breakfast as I can not manage a 20euro buffet. From the web site I thtought it was in a better position in Le Marais |

The hotel is in a very nicely situated between Bastille and Republique. It's surrounded by many excellent restaurantso of diverse cuisines. The elevator did not work and the noise from the courtyard from the wheels of luggage being pulled on the coblestone and folks partying in the middle of the night was a major let-down. |

the location the staff was not kind or helpful especially when they called a doctor without anyone asking for it..we had just asked for a pain killer! they didn't even speak fluent english. We will never go back to that hotel nor suggest it to anyone. Overall the room (a junior suite) was very small with a really small bathroom!! |

The cleanness and the fact they apparently upgraded us to a supieror room I made a mistake and booked for only one night instead of two. However the resolution of this was very poor. The man at the front desk more or less harrassed us into maing a decision of to choosing another room or leave with the utmost haste. We left in the end and stayed at another hotel. They lost our custeom and we lost thier respect. Very poor indeed. |

The location is very good, a walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and special sights. The Metro station is near and you don't have to walk to much. The room we got was nice, good sized. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The elevator was causing trouble, it didn't work one day, and we were on 3rd floor. |
