Easy to find, in front of a nice lake, private parking. the hotel is close by resto and bars but Gerardmer is not that big

Small rooms. In my opinion the hotel should be more like 2 starts instead of 3. Only basic toiletries. no hair dryer and very poor room isolation.

Perfect location with unparalelled view. The staff was very helpful and hospitable, which made me feel at home.

It can use upgrading of some things.

“Pleasant cheap stay for a ski trip” 6 Mar 2013 phew01 I have stayed in many of Gerardmers hotels and for this trip with friends was on a bit more of a budget - pound euro rate is harsh these days!! Check in was easy with English speaking staff, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast served in a nice room overlooking the lake with a reasonable selection of food. Evening meals not available but it's only a few minutes to the town centre. Suggestions - hotel has a nice seating area with books and board games available alongside reception - as reception is manned until 9 pm then it must be easy enough to have a small bar even if only serving a few bottled beers and soft drinks? Possibly add a sauna to some of this space?

This is a well-run hotel with very helpful staff. The location is great, with a little park and playground across the street and the beautiful lake a few steps away. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do in walking distance. The pool was great, with lots of comfortable and stylish seating around it. Drinks were available poolside. The breakfast room was lovely, and the cold breakfast buffet was ok and well-stocked.

There is a street in front of the hotel that could be a bit noisy at night: There is a casino on the corner and a bar nearby. It was quieter with the windows closed, but there is no air conditioning or fans. For privacy, it would have been nice to have sheer curtains as well as heavy ones. In room 24, we had dark curtains so the room was either too sunny with the curtains open, or too dark with them closed. We had a very hard time staying connected to the internet in our room.

The breakfast is extensive. In a nice surrounding with a beautiful view in the lake. Friendly people.

The room : no shower stand, no hairdryer, rather oldfashioned style, small bed (1m20), pillows way too soft. Restaurant area : cats sleeping on the tables where people have to eat afterwards ?? During breakfast, no clearing of the tables (so when arriving at 09:30, almost no clean table anymore). Upon arrival, friendly people, but no real support/contact to help you around the hotel/area. The heated pool is in fact not heated (around 20°).

Hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Location was good for our purpose. Kids liked the pool. Park with playground accross the street. Good access to bicycling. Nice dining and shopping within easy walking distance.

The noise at night from the Casino and park accross the street was loud late into the night and disturbed our sleep. Seemed like the location is right where Gerardmer youth likes to cruise at night.

La situation de l'hôtel est idéale. Nous avons apprécié particulièrement la gentillesse et la compétence du personnel. Etablissement calme, chambre agréable, petits déjeuners fantastiques, le séjour nous a enchanté. Nous y reviendrons.

l'accueil, la propreté, la qualité de la literie et le calme. Petit déjeuner annoncé comme continental et en fait buffet avec du choix. L'ensemble a été une heureuse surprise.

Les 2 réceptionnistes que nous avons vu étaient très sympathiques. L'hôtel est idéalement situé. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, et il y en a pour tous les goûts (sucré et salé)

Chambre assez petite et salle de bains pas vraiment fonctionnelle, quand on est dans la baignoire avec le rideau de douche tiré on se retrouve tout simplement dans l'obscurité ! Insonorisation inexistante, le matin nous avons entendu un vibreur de téléphone dans la chambre voisine. Chambre pas vraiment digne d'un 3 étoiles.

Prijs is correct tov hetgeen je krijgt.

Het bed was véél te klein (te kort en te smal). De matras we helemaal versleten en lag helemaal door op verschillende plaatsen. Afgezien hiervan was het verblijf ok. Echter, als je zo goed als niet slaapt, is de pret er ook gauw af.
