Everything was just perfect. Our room, our reception, the location, the ambiance. All perfect. I am a designer from NY in the luxury brands business. This was luxury in the country. Superb and unforgettable.
The overall atmosphere , the decoration , the coy and comfort
car parking not in the hotel
Outstanding location and the dining room and lounge areas were delightful.
The "charm" room was very small and more particularly had inadequate wardrobe and storage space. The room was indeed charming but we were left feeling that it was over-priced for the size. Breakfast was a chargeable extra and again regrettably seemed expensive for a very limited selection of buffet offerings.
The hotel was fine; clean, comfortable and well-decorated.
A bit too expensive. Honfleur itself was also a bit of a disappointment. You can do it in a half a day. Two days was a torture.
Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and had a very nice meal. The breakfast was better than most, too. A great choice for Honfleur.
Wonderful suite with two bathrooms, a lounge are, plenty of storage space and a nice, big confortable bed. Great position plum in the centre of town
Lack of car parking
The location of the hotel was truly excellent (especially on market day) and the spa was great too. The reception staff were friendly and over all I would recommend the hotel.
The central location has its downfalls when there are waiters outside your window at 11pm and workmen outside your window at 7am the next morning. The room was nice but the bed was two singles pushed together which is less than ideal and we like a firm bed but it was extremely hard so quality of sleep was lacking.
Friendly, helpful front desk staff Spacious and comfortable rooms
Breakfast expensive at 18 euros
Beautiful little house next to hotel which was ideal for us as a family of five, staff very helpful be freindly. Breakfast was great.
Beware, when booking to total cost shown on our booking.com reservation was not the total cost.....! An extra charge was applied for a child's bed which was not made clear!
A very French hotel in an excellent location, The welcome was very warm. We had a lovely meal in the charming restaurant and our waiter was excellent.
The room was very small. We were unfortunate to be at the back of the hotel which backs onto a courtyard with other buildings. An older lady was moving furniture and pots and pans, banging and slamming until the early hours of the morning. The noise was unbeleivable. Just bad timing, I would imagine. Didn't sleep well at all because of this.
The staff, food, room and spa were all lovely
Staff was wonderful and kind (special thanks to Louis for all the extra help); perfect location; lovely building and room with delicate details; If you want to experience the essence and pure old-world charm of beautiful Honfleur, Les Maison De Lea is a must-stay. Merci beaucoup!
Nothing - they told us about the church bells in the morning but we truly enjoyed them as well :)
Our room was large with a big bed and the bathroom was huge.
Cleanliness of the room was poor with long black hair in the sink and shower. Cups not washed and stained from previous use. Food was awful and expensive. The breakfast was a rip off with hardly anything left. I had a crusty end of a loaf and a banana also a day old slice of melon. Meat was not replenished and the jam had run out. Our evening meal was the worst French meal I have had with a piece of sole that resembled rubber.
The walled garden. Position in the town
One member of the dining room staff could do with a lesson in smiling
Location is fantastic Room beautiful and suited our needs perfectly Beautiful outlook from the room Friendly staff
Some noise early in the morning 1l bottle of water cost €6. Tea and coffee provided but no kettle but not a problem
Position was so convenient and meals the best we had in France. Staff on reception very helpful and courteous.
The location was excellent and the terrace relaxing. The breakfast was really good and the staff were helpful. Although the room was small, the country decor was cute.
We stayed at the front left of the hotel in a double aspect room. It was incredibly noisy and we were woken up by traffic and dustmen at 6.00am. Although we liked the building we would only stay at the back in the future. The rooms were small.
We stayed there in august. It is so lovely. the room had two bathrooms and one living room, and several windows. Staff very nice. We had a great time there.
Everything was just so. A little expensive for a room with no breakfast. Euro 190 lovely staff and location - thank you for a lovely stay
So pretty, great central location, very friendly helpful staff
We had a room at the front of hotel so lovely views but bins and bottles were collected starting at 5.15a.m. Each morning so impossible to sleep and market was set up very early on Wednesday and Saturday mornings under our window
Three staff: Anna Sophie, Lucille, and a French lady ( with an English accent, when speaking English), were lovely and very helpful
Internet could be improved- drops out
Loved the decor, the comfort and the location. Really beautiful place and we would certainly stay again.
The kids' bed wasn't made up so we had to do this ourselves both nights although the reason was probably due to space in the room. Otherwise perfect!
Everything was great. Traditional French decor in the room and the food in the restaurant was superb. the staff were all friendly and some spoke good English.
Parking was a slight issue but Honfleur in August is going to be busy anyway!
Location, staff and character of the hotel were all great. the breakfasts were lovely but pricey at 18euros.
We had booked a suite as my mother and I were travelling together and prefer separate rooms. The main bedroom was very comfortable but the room purporting to be a sitting area with a single bed was poor--nowhere to sit (only metal garden chairs!).large TV on a side table but impossible to watch comfortably --worked fine as somewhere to sleep but that was all
