If you are expecting a stay in a rustic Norman farmhouse, with home cooked meals from home grown produce, it ticks all the boxes. Very enjoyable stay with a lovely family.
Feels like its in the middle of no where but only 25 mins walking or 4 mins in the car in to the village of Vimoutiers. Excellent stop over en route else where great value for money very comfortable room and facilities Excellent and engaging hosts Great cider Peaceful place, we will be back for a longer stay next time. Wifi so we could update home on our travelling exploits
Nothing really, it ticked all our boxes.
Mrs Bland is a perfect host. The beautiful old house with authentic doors and handles, garden with roses on the wall ... and roses on the bed linen, smell of rain like in childhood, cider and calvados production. Natural life.
we could not stay longer.
The party the sister threw for us for an attempt to fix the piano. Next time someone visits this place - bring a square piano tuner's wrench
Arrived quite late, but Mrs Bland very welcoming Lovely place and very relaxed. Cosy en-suite and early breakfast was no problem
Minimalist breakfast even by French standards - although early - although excellent quality (home made jams lovely) Shower cubicle in room / en suite very small - my husband (who is not that large) had trouble extracting himself without damaging it!
Very welcoming and friendly, tea on arrival
Could not find initiallly, no sign on farm gate only owners name therefore went past got hopelessly lost and rescused by local who led us there
Very friendly and welcoming family, comfortable rooms in a cool old farmhouse, beautiful location in the countryside, and great cider and other homemade products to try and to buy.
Not the easiest to find, GPS coordinates put me on the other side of the hill
