Feels like its in the middle of no where but only 25 mins walking or 4 mins in the car in to the village of Vimoutiers. Excellent stop over en route else where great value for money very comfortable room and facilities Excellent and engaging hosts Great cider Peaceful place, we will be back for a longer stay next time. Wifi so we could update home on our travelling exploits

Nothing really, it ticked all our boxes.

Mrs Bland is a perfect host. The beautiful old house with authentic doors and handles, garden with roses on the wall ... and roses on the bed linen, smell of rain like in childhood, cider and calvados production. Natural life.

    we could not stay longer.

The party the sister threw for us for an attempt to fix the piano. Next time someone visits this place - bring a square piano tuner's wrench

Arrived quite late, but Mrs Bland very welcoming Lovely place and very relaxed. Cosy en-suite and early breakfast was no problem

Minimalist breakfast even by French standards - although early - although excellent quality (home made jams lovely) Shower cubicle in room / en suite very small - my husband (who is not that large) had trouble extracting himself without damaging it!

Very friendly and welcoming family, comfortable rooms in a cool old farmhouse, beautiful location in the countryside, and great cider and other homemade products to try and to buy.

Not the easiest to find, GPS coordinates put me on the other side of the hill

The environment is a picture of rural antiquity. The house itself has a very ancient history and its current use is very traditional which itself is attractive. The proprietor is a lovely lady who is very easy to talk to, both interesting and interested and made us feel very welcome.

The card repair business could possibly be made slightly less obvious, it dominates the yard rather, and the wifi only worked (for us) just outside the room. Neither of these things serve in the least as any kind of deterrent, abundantly compensated for by the hard working family home.
