We had a good 3-nights stay in Hyeres. The hotel is renovated and comfortable. Free parking and close to the highway which was perfect for us as we were visiting lots of the neighbouring towns during our stay. The garden is lovely and a very pleasant place to eat breakfast in the morning; breakfast was good although the coffee was from a self-serve machine... not the best. The staff was very nice and accommodated us very easily when we asked to extend our stay from one night to three; they gave us the same rate we had from booking.com
Although it is renovated, it seems to have been done cheaply so I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel is falling apart in a year or two... the floors are creaky and the bathroom seems particularly cheaply done.
Large rooms. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. This hotel was near the end of the autoroute, although it was in a residential area. The rooms and windows were well insulated, and we only heard the traffic noise Monday morning.
Instant coffee for breakfast. The terrace had a lot of traffic noise. A little too far, about 1.6 km, to walk to the center of of town.
- Clean rooms - Friendly staff - Problem with the airconditioning was fixed immediately
- Breakfast was terrible, not at all worth 10 euros per person... After the first morning, we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. - Parking spaces are really tight. It was okay for us as it wasn't the busy season, but wouldn't want to park there in July or August
Rooms were clean and tidy and excellent value for money. Staff very helpful and provided us with suggestions for the area. Evening meal really enjoyable and the waiter/host/barman could not have worked any harder to ensure we had a lovely family meal.
Breakfast is served in open air garden.
Poor WiFi in our room, small breakfast.
clean .location .free wifi
the name of the hotel changed to HYERE HOTEL no one telles us before.
Comfortable room/beds. Easy access to and from the town. Terrace. Clean and nicely decorated.
Staff was not very friendly. Breakfast buffet was not very good.
Quirky, environmentally aware. Nice outdoor seating area, friendly staff. Ten minute walk to train station
Access to the hotel from the main road isn't particularly obvious
Fine for a couple of nights and not spending much time there. Nice outside space despite being close to the main road.
Very pleasant and helpful staff who speak English . Room quiet and a wonderful king size bed which is super comfortable. Terrace in the garden and places to sit outside the room for example a verandah with tables and chairs and lounge on the room floor. Restaurant meals available in the evening.
For some the 1 km walk to the centre of town or the train station may be a bit far. Bus to the beaches is a few blocks.
Very comfortable room, king sized bed. Liked the fact that there were additional areas to sit in and a computer available. Flat walk to old and new part of town and plenty of parking. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Very comfortable mattress Convenient location of hotel Nice outside area with garden furniture
Breakfast - poor quality for price. Shower weak water pressure. Our room key was left out along with a few others on the front desk after the reception staff had gone. Anyone could have taken it. We mentioned it the next day but they just said it 'shouldn't have happened'. No apology.
Friendly staff. The decor was good and newly painted. There is a courtyard filled with trees and shrubs. On site parking although we didn't use it. The old city of Hyeres is beautiful and it's worth climbing up to the ruins of the old walls and château.
This is not a dislike but just pointing out that it is a 20 minute walk to the old city. It would not suit some people but for us it was a pleasant level walk along tree lined streets.
great bed, size and comfort
location, no easy transport
the bed was large and spacious, nice floor
the walls seems to be really thin and the privacy limited The location is bit tricky and not much support from the staff
Easily accessible from main road.
Longish walk to/from the restaurants in town
The employes are great and recept me very well! They speak English and always have a big smile in their face! South of France! I loved these people and region!
