The location is perfect, a room with a Sein view is so romantic. Thanks to young receptionist who helped us finding a good ive music for saturday night. Despite the loaction, the price is still a bit expensive.
Just a few metres from St Michel with a view of Notre-Dame. Comfortable. Great staff. Good price.
There was quite a bit of noise from the street but that (literally) comes with the territory. An off-street room might be a better choice for some.
Staff very friendly. Location excellent very close to the Louvre and Notre Dame.
The hotel is close to literally everything. We convenient place to stay.
Location is unbelievable. Staff was kind and helpful, good to have a bathtub and amazing view....
Everything was perfect
Great location Room with a marvellous Seine river view Helpful manager and staff Very near to touristic points (just opposite to Notre Dame) and all kinds of transportation systems
WIFI not working properly
Excellent location and view. Nice staff
great staff thank to Dino and Mr. Taner they are very helpfull and welcome. we fell very good during our stay we will come again and profit this charm people
Afterall I recommend to make beds more confortable.
Brilliant location and a characterful, clean and comfortable hotel. Very good and professional service. I would highly recommend it for a romantic holiday in Paris
The only negative was the WiFi. It was intermittent and slow. I would expect more for the price and quality of the hotel
We had a front room, first floor with street views, Notre Dame and the canal, a little bit of street noise late at night but definitely worth it, a great location to wander the city centre and the many cafes of left bank. Bathroom good and there is a lift. Taxi rank 2 minute walk.
A little tired.
Only the location
Filthy carpet, curtains, base of wardrobe, plastic leaves above bed, unwashed glasses. Absolute disgrace and extremely poor value for money. Definitely not 4 star.
The manager is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you need some great tips regarding the area, just download the free Hotel Les Rives app from the iStore. My room was at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor so I was worried about noise - but with the double glazed window, I heard nothing and slept really well! The view from the front of the room onto the Seine is lovely!
No complaints! Will definitely come again!
e got back yesterday afternoon after 4 nights in this superbly located hotel and can't wait to book again. Literally just over the Seine, across Pont Citie, on Rue Saint Michel, our room overlooked the river and Notre Dame. The Hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but the minute you walk into reception and meet the staff the place is first class. We were on the 4th floor, only 3 rooms up there) and the room was plenty large enough, the bed huge and comfortable; a very decent bathroom, shower etc and WiFi is free (tell them how many devices and you get that many logins) The room, with the window open was noisy, it is situated on a busy road, but with the windows closed at night, together with the air-conditioning, made for a very peaceful sleep. We had breakfast in the hotel the first morning, European breakfast, 15 Euros, for all you can eat; fresh juice, coffee, tea, eggs, meat, croissants with jam etc. The next 4 mornings we had a cooked breakfast at a local cafe. Each room has a mini-fridge, which is where you will find the small safe (again gratis) for your passports etc (not bit enough for my iPad, but you could leave that with the staff when you went out) In the heart of the Italian Quarter, there are so many restaurants and bars of all prices (cheap to first class) Only gripe, just the 2 small cartons of milk, so you could have just the one cup of coffee or tea using the kettle in the room - but I'm sure if we'd asked, we could have got more. Absolutely highly recommended.
The room was spacious
the bed was uncomfortable (old) and generally the room was not well furnished The hotel is exploiting its view over Notre Dame but is otherwise an ordinary left bank hotel
Opposite Notre Dame, all rooms with a view. Room bigger than average Paris hotel. Hotel has their own app, making it easy to find your way around. Free wifi. Desk staff very welcoming. Lift to train to CDG airport only a few metres from reception. Plenty of choices of places to eat in Latin Quarter in the surrounding streets. A great base to walk to many sights in Paris and a few train stations also very close.
Close to the Metro and RER station for convenient travel to anywhere in Paris. Around the corner from the Latin quarter so there are numerous meal choices. The staff speaks English very well and is very helpful.
Location, staff, assistance, convenience all excellent. Room was bigger than expected and wonderful bathroom too. Great to have mini refrigerator and safe in room. View was the best part! Cannot beat this central location! I have stayed here twice and will return.
Only one American channel to watch tv at night, the bed was comfortable but not firm and the higher price is obviously due to the location. No bar of soap in bathroom only bath gel for washing hands and showering is no big deal, just not expected.
location, near all the restaurants and latin quarter
room was small.no coffee facilities breakfast not included and it was 14E for coffee and croissant! room facing street was noisy
Excellent location. Beautiful view on the Seine and Notre Dame. Small and cosy hotel. Good service at the welcome desk. Pretty good isolation, so the traffic noise did not disturb. For Paris very big room. Very good wifi.
One single bed is actually 2 beds together.
Good air conditioning.Good breakfast.
Orange juice was off.
View makes a difference with Bastille day parade - airforce show - passing just past our windows over the seine
Hotel description seems not accurate. you are left with the expectation that you will be able to have breakfast with a view over Notre Dame, while infact the breakfast room is in the basement will wallposters. not quite the same
Everything was good. The staff was polite. The location was perfect.
They really pushed for us to get our room cleaned by the maids. I put a Do Not Disturb sign up and it was gone after the 1st day. Come to find out at checkout that they charged for every time they cleaned the room.No wonder they took my don't disturb sign and were so enthused to clean my room. Very poor move and it was the only blemish in an otherwise nice stay. Also the room stunk like cigarettes but its Paris and smoking is their past time so I was able to deal with it.
