Located between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, the Mercure Saint Raphael Valescure is at the foot of Esterel International Golf Course. It is in the quiet residential area of Valescure, beside a pine...

The location is superb with a spectacular view. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The two pools (one sea pool) are excellent. The hotel is very relaxing.
The breakfast is a bit pricey. The hotel bar closes at 8:30. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very expensive, but there is an excellent restaurant with a few hundred metres - Les Paillottes. And that's it unless you have a car or take a taxi each night.
Great views, nice room and pool and fab restaurant (if a little expensive) next door. Location is nice but you do need a car.
No food or bar after 8.30pm
Location if you are looking for relaxing and swimming in the sea. And good value for your money
A bit worn down. the Wi fi did not work.
I like the swimming-pool: sea water and normal. The view from the room on the bay sea.
The bathroom, very poor.
Excelent location for the honeymoon. You should not miss a champagne glass at the salt water pool.
A fabulous view of the water
It would be nice to have tea, coffee and kettle in room
They had a sign saying the bar was open everyday 18.00 to 20.30. Went to use the bar on Sunday and was told it is not open on a Sunday
Sea view from the room, no road between hotel and sea like anywhere else around the coast. Hotel stuff friendly enough, a ccepted request to change room to a better type, brought a wine opener, glasses and ice can on request for free, tea/coffee facility in the room (not in all rooms though).
Very old rooms, extremely simple decorated, no sound insulation at all. Door locks are constructed in a way that it is not possible to close the door without extremely loud sound, which combined to poor soundproofing makes sleep very uncomfortable. No dining facility in the Hotel or at least 3 km around. Overall, might be good for 50EUR/Night, but for around 150-200 it is far overpriced, also taking into account 10EUR/day for car park and 15 for breakfast. Triple/Quadruple rooms do not have balcony and look like a 0 star hostel, avoid them. A bit better for doubles with sea view.
Overpriced for a tatty hotel. On the beach so good for beach holidaymakers. Our visit was in October! Restaurant closed (out of season). Room clean but scruffy and quite small. €2.50 for a small bottle of water! Not a place to recommend
We had a room with balcony with great view on sea and red rocks/island. Directly on coast road so very easy to find. We had (October!) a free parking space. Compared to most of the Côte d' Azur, this location is calm. This is one of the few affordable hotels with direct access to the sea.
Room relatively small, especially bathroom and separate mini toilet. There are no restaurants or shops in the neighbourhood.
This time only the view and the beach and great weather and swimming pool and the sea side is great there...location the best but the management worse manners and service then in a 2* hotel in Russia!!!!
No restaurant which used to be great but now closed... Manager of the hotel very rude and he complained that there were dog hair on the carpet after our dog...we told them that we are coming with our dog and paid for him 13usd per day so they should of give us a room without a carpet because they have these...this was our 4th time in this hotel but the last time!!!!
Location,value for money,seaview wonderful
The terrace around the swimming pool very bad needs resurfacing dangerous uneven and very rough on feet! The restaurant was not open! We didnt know the restaurant wasn't open until arrived.
We reserved a suite with 2 rooms, bigger then standard room. Beautiful view from most rooms to the sea. quite. Good breakfast, specially knowing France. 2 Pools and possibility to swim in clear + clean sea. It were relaxing days. Erholsame Ferientage, ruhige Zimmer, direkt am Meer. 2 Pools und Schwimmen im sauberen Meer. Gutes Frühstück.
From corner suite traffic can be heard slightly, other rooms only the waves... A loud neighbour could be heard.
Location.. And view from room. The sea pool we also loved.
The staff were welcoming and spoke good English. The view was breathtaking and the sound of waves sent you into a peaceful sleep. Didn't have breakfast so cant comment on that however it looked good. Booked 2 nights stayed an extra 4. Excellent sea water horizon pool
Access to sea/natural pool. room was large and had a lovely view
Price of breakfast, towels for swimming. The bathroom needed modernizing. Cheap plastic cups in a hotel aiming at a more up-market feel were out of place. TV required the channels tuning (sorted quickly though)
Замечательный отель, несмотря на то, что нет парковки. Но рядом находится городской паркинг. Номера очень чистые и просторные. Большое преимущество - близость к центру. 5 минут пешком по интересным улочкам - и вы в самом центре города. рекомендуем!
1) Location just above the sea. 2) Minibar-fridge in the room. 3) Ironing room (free of charge 24/7). 4) Free outdoor parking with empty places in front of the hotel. 5) Although the check-in time is very late (16:00) we were checked in much early (13:00).
1) Extremely noisy. You can hear sounds of door closing from all rooms in the floor. 2) WiFi was declared, but was not working at all in 2 laptops and smartphone. 3) The swimming pool was not too clean. 4) No restaurant. 5) During check-in we asked about indoor parking possibility. The girl in the reception gave a number and code to get in. We said that we are not sure that we will use it. As an answer we heard "pas de souci" and were not told, that since we have the code, we will be anyhow charged, as it happened, when we were living. When we asked, why we should pay for parking, if we didn't use it, we were "exceptionally" charged only for one night, even though we didn't use it at all.
Location near the seaside
Not so clean, staff
