This beautiful little B&B is the quintessential French lodging; neat & clean, soft bed with excellent linens, set in a lovely olive orchard, and interesting decor. The proprietors have excellent wines for sale at reasonable prices. The breakfast consisted of croissant and breads, yogurt, and fresh jams. The free parking is a real plus for drivers. It’s a short, 10 minute walk in to town.

Set in a 1 acre garden, Les Tilleuls d’Elisée is in the heart of Vaison la Romaine Ancient Village. The provincial property dates back to the 19th Century and features an outdoor terrace. Decorated in a romantic and provincial style, the rooms feature views of the garden, mountains or village and some offer original beams. The private bathroom is complete with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Homemade jams and seasonal fruits are served at breakfast, which can be eaten on the terrace under the shade of lime trees. There is also a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use. The property is just a 40-minute drive from Châteauneuf-du-Papes vineyards and 9.3 mi from Mont Ventoux. Avignon Train Station is ideally located 37 mi away and free parking is available on site.
