Le Senat    

Although the room was very small and the bathroom really small it was nicely decorated and sufficient for a couple who were out touring all day. If you plan to spend much time in the room this is not the place. They had an honor bar in the lobby which was nice for an early evening drink and reading the paper. The location was wonderful with lots of places to eat all within walking distance as well as Luxembourg Jardin.

Elevator too small for luggage and more than one person but it is an old building and nothing could really be done about that.

The service each time I go to Le Senat is impeccable, the staff friendly, the location is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and clean and there is a brilliant restaurant next door. Would recommend and I do and will continue to visit again and again :)

The air on was a tiny bit off the last time I stayed, so was a little hot. I didn't ask for any assistance though as I'm sure the hotel staff would have sorted it straight away.

Bright cheerfuly reception people. Good size clean room, comfortable large bed with a pretty new mattress - suggested high quality. Only minutes walking from metro. Fast RER link to Eurostar terminal. Outside - nearby choice of restaurants and cafes for dinner and breakfast

The room was absolutely beautiful: with a small terrace with views of all landmarks. Very comfortable and tasteful.

Exellent location, short walking distances to everywhere. Exellent publick transport connections to airports and city and very good hotel to enjoy Paris.

Just an awesome location and very nice staff and a great room (with a great shower which my tall husband loved). Particularly I loved they had a 24X7 Nespresso machine on the lobby :)

The staff were so friendly, accomodating and helpful. The room was rather large for Parisian standards. The location was very close to RER station and walking distance to many attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay at Le Senat and will certainly recommend it to anyone and will certainly return there ourselves.

I wish there was a kettle in the room. No other complains.

really liked the decor, and luxury toiletries in bathroom. cleaned everyday with fresh towels, polite staff and an amazing location (5mins to notre dame / latin quarter)

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Le Senat which is situated very close to the Luxembourg Gardens. There are good restaurants and bars within walking distance to the hotel and both Metro and RER stations are just a short walk away. Staff at the hotel were always polite and helpful.

Room and facilities were excellent. Nice design and decor, perfect bathroom, excellent location near Jardin du Luxembourg and in the heart of cosy Saint Germain. The breakfast was incredibly elaborate for French standards. We would really recommend this hotel.

The view from our room was rather bland, the room was too hot during the night, even with the heating turned off, and there was an annoying ticking noise of the heating system all through the night. However, these were only minor downsides to an otherwise perfect stay in the city of lights.

Senat is located in a prime area of St. Germaine and very easy to find from the Odeon train station as well as the rer. The atmosphere/decor is very posh, yet also comfortable and the staff were helpful with both directions and bookings at restaurants.

Not much, though I do think with prices like £127 per night, coffee and tea should be free. I understand asking guests to pay for wine, but believe extras like coffee and tea are a nice touch to include in the rate. Especially if you're leaving it out in the lobby area for people to help themselves to. (They are currently using an "honour system.")

Le Senat was a very pleasant hotel to stay in. The room was cozy and our room had a balcony which wasn't expected but was nice.

Traveling without cell phone service can pose a lot of problems for business people. Having available WiFi is very important and was not very good at this hotel. When we had internet, it was great. However, about 75% of the time we were there, it did not work. They apologized and called a technician and recommended we go to Starbucks... But their WiFi was overrun with users and was non-functioning as well.

We have liked the location & the room's cleanliness..

Contrary to what one could expect of a "superior double room", the room was extremely small & crowded. There was very little storage room for our luggage & the room amenities were restricted to bare necessities. For late checkout (an extra 5 hour's occupation of the room) we were charged almost a full day's fee.
