The rooms are comfortable and quiet, each with a small terrace. The bathroooms are excellent - more like wet-rooms - perfect for sluicing yourself down after a long drive across fFance. The restaurant provides excellent food at a reasonable price, even on Sunday evening. The situation is perfect for an overnight stay before an early channel crossing the next morning, or after a late afternoon crossing.

Very convenient stopover en route from UK. Larger room good for our 2 dogs. Evening meal was excellent also good value. Outside lighting to the garden area would have been nice.

Clean comfortable hotel good value for money with excellent food. On our route from southern France to the ports for England. Very limited television channels other than French. Television listed 2 in English one was German the other Eurosport in English but only featured winter sports and all adverts in German.

We have visited this hotel many times for short breaks and "stopovers" when travelling south. It is reliable, the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet thus ensuring a good nights rest. The shower rooms are well fitted. The food is always good, sometimes excellent. Staff always helpful. Near Montreuil and Le Touquet for interesting visits. Thoroughly enjoy all aspects.

We have been using this Logis as an overnight stop for many years and have always been most pleased with our stays. Pleasant staff, comfortable modern room, menu perhaps not quite as good as hitherto but nevertheless very acceptable.

We have stayed at this hotel before and I would say that the food in particular has got even better. Cetainly just as good as the restaurants in town. I'm not sure if it always was, but it's now a Logis and rightfully so. The town of Hesdin is charming and always a pleasure for a stroll around. The market on Thursday morning is fantastic - every road is crammed with stalls selling fresh local produce. Be aware that this hotel used to be on the Wine Society recommended list before they moved to Montreuil, but it still seems to attract the same upper middle class Brits with their strange attitudes and behaviours. However, if you can bear this, the hotel is well worth a stay. The rooms have been refurbished but the new sinks are set so high that anyone below average height would have trouble reaching them! Unfortunately our room had an unpleasant musty smell and there was mould visible in the bathroom and bedroom. Beware that there are no tea and coffee making facilities, so we took our own kettle and all the necessary ingredients. Remember the milk and don't forget a spoon, like we did!

QWe were on a motorbike trip and stayed at the hotel for one night. We enjoyed being able to sit out in the gardens which were in flower and had apple from the orchard. The chairs and sunloungers were a pleasant surprise. Opening the french doors in our room onto the garden and the peace and quiet of the countryside was just what we needed having travelled many kilometers to get there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room clean and the food was good

Quiet, safe, good overnight for travel via Calais etc. The Dinner was very poor. We have noticed the quality of the kitchen has been dropping over the last few years

Our stay was only for one night but we were very impressed with staff and hotel. We hadnt expected such lovely gardens and the food in the hotel restaurant was exceptionally good. Would definitely recommend for sightseeing in the area.

This is a jewel in the countryside. Close enough to beaches and chateaux. The staff were friendly and very obliging. The rooms are well proportioned, exceptionally clean, contemporary in design and all have patio doors opening onto the wonderful garden. Many of the guests we spoke to, were return visitors and we would definitely mark this on our map as a place to return to. The food was good and the restaurant was very relaxed. Very little....the breakfast was simple compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Very warm welcome and helpful staff, excellent food. Close proximity to the best and biggest Market in the area. Lack of facilities to make a drink in the morning, but this is the normality in France so we accept this.

We stayed at Les 3 Fontaines many years ago, before the new extension was built. It is conveniently located and has remained a quiet and relaxing place to stay. It is close to both historical sites and beautiful gardens around Pas de Calais. The rooms are laid out to add to the peaceful and relaxing ambience. Having complementary WiFi access is an added bonus. Having requested the quietest room, we were placed in the new 'wing'. The shower space did not have a door or curtains therefore resulting in the whole toilet and shower area floor space being very wet after one of us has had a shower.

This was our third visit to this hotel and I am glad to say that the standards of service, food and comfort are as good as ever. It is popular with like minded people who appreciate peace and quiet, and makes an ideal stop over for those travelling further afield. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be nice.

Each visit to France includes at least one night at this hotel. The staff are welcoming friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and very good value. We enjoy relaxing in the garden after a long journey or over breakfast. The chalet style rooms are comfortable and attractively furnished and the bathrooms well equipped. I readily recommend Les Trois Fontaines to my friends. Last year we stayed one night in a standard room which we thought was rather shabby, but it was autumn and therefore might have been due for redecoration. We were disturbed by the noise from the couple in the next room and think the rooms could be better insulated. The bathroom fittings seem to have been installed by a very tall person as I (being very short) struggled to reach ie. towels, shower head or to lean over the basin.

“A one night stay - Richard and Vanessa were absolutely charming and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We shared a couple of welcome drinks with them, and enjoyed learning about how they have renovated the beautiful old house - the decor is well thought out and delightful. We ate our evening meal at a small restaurant, a 10 minute walk away. A tasty breakfast cooked by Richard - a choice of continental, together with fresh scrambled eggs.” John, Radovljica |
