Dinner, and the appearance of the hotel, heavily timbered, which was lovely.

Situation. Piney is a beautiful village almost completely deserted because of the unbelievably heavy goods traffic passing through it night and day. Staffing was particularly sparse.

Great little place. Reception staff very helpful. Great food.

In the process of improving the decor and will probably be good when finished. Where the work had been completed, it was very traditional with old wooden finishing.

The receptiion area and stairs were still a work in progress and the rope handrail on the stairs was not fixed to the wall all the way down and so a little dangerous. There was a strong smell. I thought it was of cooking and put me off eating there.

Aesthetically, the hotel is very pleasing, and the surrounding architecture is also very pleasing.

The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived just after 8 pm, having travelled for 7-hours without a decent meal. We found this strange given that we had booked our rooms over two weeks in advance. There aren't any other restaurants in Piney, so we ended up eating a bar meal but were charged an extortionate price for an inadequate meal. There was no accompanying relishes/sauces to our dry meal of bits of beef and chips - not even mayonnaise (rather bizarre given we were in France!). The swimming pool (piscine) is actually located away from the hotel; across the road!

Le petit déjeuner est à 9 euros et non 8 comme annoncé de plus à 9 heures ,il n'y a pratiquement plus rien à manger, entre autres, plus de croissants...

Le restaurant est très bien.

L'hôtel étant en travaux, bien sûr tout n'est pas parfait, et notamment les petits escaliers pour descendre à la chambre ou pour sortir de la chambre.Un peu dangereux à mon goût. Une fois être parvenue à la chambre, rien à dire. Très bon confort et chambre spacieuse.

Nous étions 4adultes et 2 petits enfants, le séjour était sympa, la piscine aussi mais un peu froide, la cuisine était très bonne, la chambre manquait de finitions. Pour le pris on a bien profite de notre séjour, on pourrais espérer mieux pour l'acceuil et les chambres. Ça viendra peut être.....

Bon hôtel. Bon accueil et très bon resto pour un prix correct. La chambre est spacieuse.

Le petit déjeuner est à 9 euros et non à 8 comme indiqué par Booking.com. Les gobelets dans la salle de bain n'ont pas été changés le deuxième jour du séjour j'ai trouvé ça moyen. Le bruit (pas d'insonorisation dans l'hôtel et la chambre donne sur la rue qui est empruntée par les routiers).

Le diner tout à fait bien.Sans doute un bon restaurant mais un hotel de qualité tout à fait insuffisante

Hall d'entrée à l'état de chantier.Chambre mal odorante.Douche ne fonctionnant pas!!!Salle de petit déjeuner ou il pleuvait.!!!..Donc prix exagéré.C'est honteux de proposer ce genre d'hotel.

- La distance par rapport à mon centre d'intérêt - le caractère "vieillot" de l'immeuble - la chambre au rez de chaussée - le parking qui n'est autre que le trottoir devant la terrasse du bar de l'hotel - les travaux en cours...........
