I stayed at the hotel from 28.04.13 to 30.04.13. The hotel met my criteria of being a walking distance away from Gare de L'est, in which I've booked a train ride to Munich from the Gare. Since my train ride from London, Eurostar, stops at Gare du Nord, which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel, choosing the hotel is a no brainer thing. Reviews from Tripadvisor doesn't look too bad too. Not forgetting, Le Metro is co-located with Gare du Nord. Very important to reach places in Paris. Convenient and cheap. Upon reaching the hotel, checking in was pretty smooth. Our given room is at the 6th floor, with a view of Tour Eiffel, not a full coverage but at least the top half is visible, from our balcony. That alone is enough to up my spirits. Anyway, don't expect to have luxury of space. The room is rather small but enough for a couple. Let me put it, it's enough space if you are only looking for a comfortable place to have a good night sleep and to wake up for another day of fun in Paris. The bed and pillows are comfortable too. No complains. I woke up fresh on both mornings.  The toilet is small but still I'm not complaining. Everything is in working order though. That's the most important. One thing that stands out is the Nespresso Machine with 6 capsules of coffee is the highlight. It's the only hotel that provide the machine. And of course I love a hotel that offers free Wifi that covers the rooms too.  Finally, the hotel offers a great "after sales" service by keeping our luggage secured on the final day after we check out, while we do another round of Paris sightseeing plus shopping before catching our 330pm train ride to Munich at Gare de L'est.  I'll definitely return if given the opportunity.

Clean, modern. We got a room for 3, and there were only 2 of us, so room was plenty big, especially by Paris standards.

Need a handrail for getting out of shower. Absolutely my only negative comment.

The hotel is few minutes walk to the Gare Du Nord station that is a major station in Paris. The hotel looks trendy from inside the lobby.

The area around the hotel is a bit scary to move around at night. The hotel do not have late check out. Only one complimentary water bottle for 2 people. The room and bathroom is extremely small and has a sliding door instead of a regular door. No closet to hang your clothes but rather an external rack and hangers. No safe to lock in your valuables. No minibar or Refrigerator in the room.

Friendly receptionist and staff. Cleanliness of hotel. Value for money. Great breakfast (although this was extra) but well worth the money.

This was my second time staying in the hotel. The first time I stayed in the hotel was 2 years ago, and they were under-going through some renovations which explains that the stay was not so enjoyable. Nevertheless, I booked the hotel again this time, since it was less than 300m away from Gare Du Nord, and easy for me to take the rer to and from the airport. Each time, when I mentioned that I am staying in a hotel in Gare Du Nord, everyone would be shocked, as normally it is not the best neighbourhood to reside. But remarkably, the hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice and affordable stay in Paris. And definitely, this would be my choice of stay again, next time when I would be in Paris.

Indeed, it is very noisy if the windows are open. It was cold outside when I was there, and I needed the windows closed anyway. With the windows closed, you can hardly hear the road at all.

The Staff was very courteous, and helpful. We took advantage of the Breakfast offered, it was very nice. We enjoyed our one night stay,

The room is small, but that is typical for Europe. The location is close to the Gare Du Nord train station. The area was very scary, too many questionable characters..

Convenient location near Gare du Nord. On noisy boulevard but well - soundproofed. Perfectly adequate though pretty standard accommodation. Didn't sample breakfast or wi-fi.

Far from the airport drop off in the city centre, visitors should take a cab Room was very, very small - could not imagine 2 people staying in this room together (just enough room to walk on either side of the bed & 3 ft at the end of the bed, bathroom only a shower with just enough room to turn around)

very easy to access from theRER B from CDG airport (just next to the Gare du Nord station). Somewhat easy to get into central Paris.

Location is good, near to train station. Receptionist is very helpful and friendly. Very patient in every single questions from me.

The hotel is newly renovated. The triple room is spacious and comfortable. The location is about three blocks away for Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est.

The air com in the ro was centrally controlled md when the room was really hot, we were told the air con for the hotel wasn't programmed to come on and therefore it wouldn't be on throughout the duration of our stay. As a result we had a very unsettled sleep.

Great location, very clean, new facilities and surprisingly not noisy (great soundproof windows), given the movement in that avenue.
